When Snoop Dogg released his highly-successful hit single, Sexual Eruption, loads of attention was immediately thrust towards the song’s up-and-coming producer, Shawty Redd. As the single made its rise towards the top of the charts, Redd decided to capitalize on the buzz and dropped his debut single, Drifter. Though both songs sound very similar (after all, they were done by the same man), DJ Booth listeners quickly pointed out the lack of hit potential on Redd’s rendition. Now, several months later, Snoop guest stars on the official remix to Drifter, giving the song a much needed veteran presence. Redd will drop his debut album, Jekyll & Hyde, later this summer.
I don't know what to say about this track, except that it sounds alot like sexual eruption. This is not working for me. He just added a few sounds here and there (ringing bells). In addition, shawty redd sounds lazy on the track. Snoop tried to put some fizz, but it was too flat.

If only this song was dropped and caught on before Snoop got his Sexual Seduction on? If only Shawty didn't send the SS beat over to Snoop, but instead kept it for himself... so many questions, not enough answers. I need to find out if this was a scratch my back feature verse.
Snoops version was so much better. Shawty Redd is a great producer tho. Thats about all I liked bout the track was the production. Not really feelin it so much.
Ahahahah I find this so useless! The song is as the old one, but with Sensual Seduction...I can't see the point of this remix! BTW I liked this song when it came out, it was different, with a catchy beat and I gave it a high rating! I give 2 stars to this edit because he could have done a new song instead of repeating an old one
Wow, I really can't rate any songs today, since they all suck and I don't wanna sound like a hater. This is my favorite song from the booth today. However, it is another remix where the song is exactly the same, with a new verse added from Snoop Dizzle.
I like the song its diffrent and original lets not forget that in the west coast this song is doing very well. and for snoop to mention this song in his sexual seduction lyrics says somthing in rotation

the track is nice, but his flow is too slow 4 me, i need to hear a lil more from him, cuz i dont think this song really show case his skillz( if thier is any) and its sad that snoop beat up the track, he bearly writes his own stuff anymore. so i couldnt see me playing this song at anytime, but the beat is on point. im give it 1 out of 5 im sorry but even snoop couldnt save this song
Thanks Patty! : ) I try not to rate songs that you won't catch me listening to on an everyday basis. For instance, you'll never see me drivin' down the road listening to Elephant Man so I didn't bother to rate it. And I'm sick of saying Flo Rida sucks everytime a new song of his is posted. LOL
If any of you new people were on DJBooth a while back then you would know that the original version of this by Shawty Redd was based on Sexual Eruption.. just to get that cleared.. and YESS this version is a lot better compared to the orig to. just because of Snoop, and bad boy is right.. i dont know but his flow seams realllyyyy slow. like he didn't give it his all or he has no flow at all lol.
i think this songg is really good the production is real flyyy and different than snoops S.S. even though his flow not the best its an overall good song.
