Although Shawty Lo‘s album, Units in the City, has been available for roughly two months, it has not yet sold 100k copies as of this feature posting (due in part to various unenthusiastic reviews, including the 1.5-rated schooling from our very own Nathan S.). Rather than give up on promotion, however, the D4L founder/CEO just says ”Big up to all my haters” and drops his fourth single. Perfectly in line with what people would expect from L-O, Foolish and its lyrics are nothing to write home about, but the beat is strong enough to get people’s attention (props to DJ Montay, who once again delivers). For those who care, Units in the City is in stores now.
damn this sh*t is annoying. Just listen to this garbage. I am a D4L hater, and anyone affiliated with them. The only thing that is good about this is the beat. It would be a 0/5 without the production so it is worthy of the 1/5! This is straight garbage.

I think Shawty Lo is 10x better solo than with D4L, they are simply a joke to me. I think that is also hurting album sales for his solo CD. People are not taking the singer of Laffy Taffy seriously as a major rapper in the game. Dey Know was real hot, and this is an average track as well.
The sadness that is this single is that it was FOOLISH to believe one single could catapult this man's career into the upper echelon of rap talent. Shawty Lo might get dogged for being an awful MC, but trust me-- he does not care. Why? Because he is gettin' paid.
