Shawn really turned in an all-around enjoyable effort here. The production work is really top notch (I didn't he could do it like THIS), and I agree (with that1kid13) the chorus most def makes this song what it is.
This gets you hype, but in a classy way. Hard to explain, but it works.

This track belongs in NBA 2k10. Sooooo hype, but like DJ Z said, kind of in a laidback way. When you KNOW you're the best, you can just sit back, people will know.

This is a cool track. I thought the production was the best part here. Shawn brought a tight flow but lyrically didn't really say anything special. The hook was real nice. I dug this. 3.5

Wow! So motivational... I might forget when to stop if I listen to this at the gym. The instruments are so well orchestrated, there's plenty to appreciate here.
I disagree with the chorus being the best part, I actually enjoyed the verses more, the flow is so much better. Shawn is really talented and raps like someone who has something to say should. @richard: lol, great job with the blurb intro man! You are definitely my favorite track reviewer in the history of... djbooth.net! Which is the... BEST hip hop site in the history of the world, so you're pretty much accurate! ;) |

The production sounds really epic and sounds great! Shawn Chrystopher's lyrics are nothing special but he makes up for it with his agressiveness and hunger. The chorus sounds amazing ..solid song overall!

Dam this beat is up there with his track "ME" which is my favorite track from him till now....
Shawn Chrystopher is the one man band man!! (move over swizz) haha anyway the beat is very motivational and the hook is outrageously good!! Shawn Chrystopher lost his mind on this one.... Banger for sure!!!! |
