In the case of this record, which he himself described as “one of the best songs I’ve ever done,” the emcee simply wanted everyone to hear the song as soon as possible. Without further ado, we present Not Really Here. Sampling Sam Sparro‘s Grammy-nominated dance hit, Black & Gold, Shawn dedicates his passionate verses to an unnamed love interest. Since this record is intended as a sneak peek of A City With No Seasons’ creative direction, expectations for the LP should be sky-high. I don't like how this song begins and the hook, it's too soft and slow, seems like dude doesn't have voice at all! But Shawn's part is cool, I love the music and his flow!

the vibe to this song is too deep ..... love the production and the sample .... gots classic all over ..... and shawn is going to do some great things .... like his "me" song and this one just hits harder then it ...... well i like it so much i'm gonna give it 5 *

Real easy on the ears track But... the hook is too much on the harmonics. I don't want to here the instruments sing the song. It would be an awesome instrumental to freestyle to. Yet the lyrics are clean and straight to the point, I Just can't HEAR THEM.

this is the first time i've heard this one... its is AMAZING! this flow is just... unheard of. A suprise this isn't on the radio... its just FIYAH!! the lyrics are smooth, prodo is smooth. enof said... this is a must have on mp3 players n ipods of peepz that enjoy smooth westcoast floo.
