Here to represent the “softer, sexier side of Young Money” (to quote her MySpace page), newly-signed singer Shanell has teamed up with her label boss and an R&B big-name to take listeners on a trip to The Other Side. The other side of what, you ask? Um, beats me… The details, of course, hardly matter when a track is as driving and danceable as this buzz single, which finds the singer showing off her (Auto-Tuned) vocal stylings over the compulsively body-moving boardwork of David Guetta (complete with a rock-influenced intro that feels like it could have carried an entire song on its own). Weezy amps up the star power with a brief, slightly baffling opening verse, threatening (promising?) to “...turn that b*tch into a butterfly,” and Ne-Yo rounds out the lineup, waxing poetic about his fedora and his passion for dance on the back end. Other Side is set to appear on a project whose title and release date have yet to be determined – keep it locked for all the latest!

Decent club track, though nothing special. Ne-Yo & the production sounded very solid together, though Weezy & Shanell were pretty ordinary.

Ne-Yo felt at home!!! The chorus is hot even though not fresh. This would sound good in the club, but nobody will care who's singing it. Good production.

David Guetta's one of the better producers in the and this is a star-studded lineup. Shanell sounded decent. Ne-Yo is always great and Wayne was decent but I did expect a bit more from this. Rotation though.

David Guetta brought fire on the production!!
This is really good idk what you guys are talking about?? Wayne did good and Ne-Yo absolutely overshadowed everybody on this!! Should of gave the whole track to Ne-Yo as he felt at home on this track!! Shanell's voice sounds good on this club beat but Ne-Yo sounds better!! I'm calling it a banger!! |

Y'all are haters, this isn't bad! Ne-Yo is at home on here but after 'Closer' he is an obvious choice... Weezy is a bit odd though. Ild certainly mix him out. But it's in rotation
