Seven - Like A Rocket
Artist: Seven
Producer: Ph!l!pp Schweidler, Flo Goetze, Seven
Album: Like A Rocket
Label: Nation Music
Seven‘s first Booth feature found the Swiss pop/R&B singer expressing his frustration with the swiftness of time, explaining, “All I want is my life to go slow.” As nice as it can be to take a break from the daily grind on occasion, though, there’s no escaping the facts: time flies Like a Rocket, and if you don’t hop on board, you’re gonna get left behind. Fittingly, where Go Slow (Remix) was a relaxing afternoon on the beach, this track is a mile-a-minute thrill ride—from Seven, Ph!l!pp Schweidler, and Flo Goetze‘s jittery funk instrumental, densely packed with singsong backing vocals and electronic flourishes, to the artist’s motormouthed chorus, every facet of this track exudes restless energy. Most exhilarating of all is Brooklyn vet AMG‘s breakneck guest verse, which finds him riding the frenetic rhythm like a surfer hanging ten on a tsunami. It’s yet unknown when Like a Rocket (the album) will be touching down globally, but those who simply don’t have the time to wait around can always go the import route—the LP’s out now in Switzerland.

The "Go Slow (Remix)" with Talib was the first I heard of Seven, but now every record I am sent I can't stop listening to. This isn't a rap record, or an R&B record, but is does have Top 40/urban appeal... and AMG never gets old (to my ears, rather, not in actual years).
I am a fan. |

This is not quite my cup of tea, but I can easily appreciate this. I liked the energy and upbeat tempo, and the soulful vocals from seven were a bit unexpected. I can see the urban and pop appeal in the track, like Z said, and the verse from AMG worked very well.

I like some pop in my music rotation. This was a real good upbeat song and was pretty catchy. AMG fit the beat really well and added a nice element.

The tempo and sheer energy of track is contagious!
The motormouthed chorus appeals, an energy-infused chant that grows as the song goes ... and AMG's lyrical energy matches the tone of the song ... BANGER!!! |

This is different. Good bass line, Seven has a soulful vibe to him. I wanna hear more from this dude. AMG's flow was good as well. Not bad,

Wow. I'm not sure what to say on this one, but I really like it. Agreeing with Top Hat, the energy & tempo is amazing. Vocals are strong and the whole sound of it gives me a classy feeling
