No matter what kinds of decisions we have to make, we all need options; whether you have many of them (Hugh Hefner) or just a few (Bill Gates), options, (along with money and war) make the world go round. Brooklyn emcee Sene obviously wasn’t late finding that out, and his newest single Options doesn’t have us doubting that fact. Over what some may find to be a quite commonly used, old-fashioned-sounding sample, Sene does his duty on the mic, sharing with us the triumphs and woes that come along with a budding rap career. At a brisk two and a half minutes,  Options goes by all too quickly, but in that time Sene is able to craft an excellent follow-up to previous Booth successes Follow Leaders and Departure Time. So whether you have many options (Luda) or just a few (Soulja Boy), again, many (Beyoncé), or a few (shaved-head Cassie), use your power of decision making to pick up Sene’s DJBooth co-sponsored album Reality Bites on April 27.

A head-nodder indeed. The dreamy productions/sample works for me. I come away slightly disappointed that this record wasn't a big longer, but it serves as a nice teaser to Sene's listeners with his project dropping on Tuesday (via us).

Just something to bob my head to. Not really feeling the beat or the flow of this song though. I enjoy the lyrics and the chorus is really good to just chill out to. Just an overall ok song though. Doesn't quite reach rotation for me.

This track is a disaster, from the horrible intro to the chimes in the instrumental. The only thing worth mentioning at all is Sene's lyrical ability, but that is overshadowed by the below sub par production.

This track was pretty cool. Probably won't play again, but for the effort that Sene put into this, it was good. The way he says "Options" in the song sounds a little off. Lyrically, Sene could do big things if he focused on better production and if he really put more effort into creating a more impressive hook. I can see how this track could get annoying after awhile.

Production was definitely this tracks downfall. The opening intro/sample was un-necessary and as the song went on the production really began to start getting repetitive. This was okay.

Decent, this could sound good on the headphones. The chorus was a little weak and predictable, but the lyrics were impressive as Sene carried it on the bars.

The hook was rather ambiguous and repetitive. Elaborate. The strong verses and soothing production kept me listening. 2.5

Besides the B.o.B track it seems like tonights track aren't getting the best ratings...hmm maybe production has something to do with it.

This production isn't anythin special...I'm sure theres been very simliar sounding ones like this.

All in all its not a bad track...but the hook an production could have used some work.

His lyrics on the verses aren't bad at all...but I would have given some more "Umph" on the hook or something rather then just repeating the title of the track over and over.

this is lacking something that "follow leaders" had- a good hook. sene saying "options" over and over is too repetitive, works sometimes, not here. his flow and content are nice as is the production. just needs a better hook. solid though

Some people have not liked the production on this, but I thought this sample was great and to Blaze31 it did remind me of that song. The only thing I didn't like about this song was the boring hook.

Hopefully, this guy's project sounds a little better than this. This is still something I could bump to a couple times, but not much after.

For me, the production alone, consisting of soulful sampled vocals, lo-fi drums, clean percussion and melodic chimes makes for repeated listens. And it doesn't hurt that Sene was extra nice with his truthful nature on the mic.

I don't know why people don't like the production, I think it's pretty good. I agree with what @DJ Z had said, I'm a little disappointed with the length of this song.

A bit too monotonous, but it's ok. I'm not sure that sample comes in tune with the background music... you can feel a weird contrast.

Uhm... is that really how you say "options"? :s His delivery isn't attention grabbing at all, so he might wanna work on that before I can tell if he's saying something interesting.
