Featured back in November, the first leak off Sene‘s transcontinental collab with Swiss beatsmith NoGames received some surprisingly harsh reader reviews, thanks to the artist’s Kanye-esque flows and an allegedly flavorless instrumental (I was really digging it, myself). In any event, the Brooklyn buzzmaker hasn’t let the constructive criticism slow him down; on the contrary, he sounds more driven than ever on the latest leak, grind anthem Motive. Riding NoGames’ bouncy, retro-electro grooves, Sene fills fans in on just how determined he is to write his name among the stars. Acknowledging that there are some who don’t yet appreciate his vision (including his mom, who wishes he’d start looking for a day job), he nonetheless expresses perfect confidence that he’ll win them over in due course – and in the meantime, he’s not gonna quit hustling till he’s “as big as boobies on Baywatch.” Have the NYC hopeful and his behind-the-boards partner made a believer out of you? Or were you feeling their style all along? If you’ve Sene the light, you’ll want to keep it locked for release details on Metropolispeaker, due out “soon.”

Well, I will have to strongly disagree with member "bigmhc" in that the beat is horrible. It might not be a mainstream cup of tea, but its engaging and complements Sene very very well. Not sure if they were going for an 80's vibe, but I got that feeling and I like it.

Damn, people are grumpy as hell today on the Booth. What, y'all are mad cause you have to work on a holiday or something?
While I can't say I was blown away on this, the beat's definitely nowhere near as bad as it's being made out to be - it's perfectly average - and while Sene's rhymes don't kill, they're not weak either. |

shit man. yall r mean as hell. i don't mind the beat or the rapper, its just together its a little off... i find the beat to over powering for Sene, and his hook a little strange, i can imagine people finding it dope, but not me.

The beat isn't as bad as the first commenter makes it out to be. It reminds me of the Knight Rider tv series with David hassehoff.
