Sean Price - Remember
Artist: Sean Price
Featuring: Freddie Gibbs
Producer: Statik Selektah
Album: Mic Tyson
Label: Duck Down Records
The sheer amount of new music that passes through my headphones on the daily means that, if you were to ask me in the evening which new records I’d listened to just hours ago, I’d be lucky if one or two specific names came to mind. Sean Price‘s latest single, however, is one I’m going to remember—and not just because, “Remember,” is its title. A bonus cut off his latest solo album, this freshly-released cut finds Ruckus coming together with Gary, Indiana phenom Freddie Gibbs to lace a bluesy Statik Selektah instrumental with raw and uncut lyrical flames. As you’d expect from the individuals involved, the result is a smoldering street banger par excellence. For more, check out Price’s Mic Tyson LP, released this past Tuesday via Duck Down and available now for purchase on iTunes.

Sean Price goes hard on this. Dope flow and delivery. Nice production on this from Statik Selektah, he never dissapoints.

Statik on the beat with Sean Price and Freddie Gibbs on the mic?!? Sounds like good-work to me. Everything just fits together nicely.

This is that shit. Good to hear Statik work w P! Dope beat an Statiks cuts are dope and tastefuly done. Sean Price is one of those cats I hate to hear feature other rappers tho, he comes with the super dope flow and mad quotables an whoever spits next can never touch it. Other emcees sound bland as hell after his content. Freddie Gibs put forth a good effor but I'm glad he had the last verse. Dope joint. P!
