Sean Kingston - Fire Burning
Producer: Red One
Album: Tomorrow
Label: E1/Beluga Heights/Epic
Though Sean Kingston sounds convincingly distressed on the “Somebody call 911!” opening line of his latest single, you can put down your cell phone and breathe a sigh of relief—there’s not actually a Fire Burnin’, it’s just that a certain shorty’s smooth moves have set the dancefloor figuratively aflame. As on his last featured cut, I’m At War, the singer uses an attention-grabbing central metaphor to discuss his favorite subject—the ladies—but this time around the focus is on booty-shaking lust in the club, not heartbreak. As Kingston describes the female who’s had him transfixed since he set foot in the club, Red One, the producer whose bangin’ boardwork backed several of Lady Gaga‘s recent singles, does his damndest to make sure nobody at the spot will be able to stand still, serving up a high-octane mix of crunchy synths and thumping bass. An infectiously energetic record with the potential to ignite the charts as well as the clubs, Fire Burnin’ will be included on sophomore LP Tomorrow (due out soon).

Sean Kingston knows how to make some catchy club hits. I gotta give him some props for that. Good production and Kingston was tight. When I am in the mood, I really enjoy his work.

clearly everyone in pop is gonna go to redone following his success with the gaga tracks which are both huge. i already recognize his style of production immediately (poker face and just dance are hard to tell apart in a club they're so alike) and this is the same vibe. new kinda music from kingston, its not bad, hope his second album is as solid as the first

Red One never disappoints with his productions. Sean Kingston is nice with the autotune. Very catchy tune and it will blow up on the radio. It seems that it's already time for the summer hits!

Formula :: The hook is almost always the same with different words, the lyrics are simplistic &
repetitive but catchy... Beat isnt that good, i agree too much goin on ... But this isn't a song that should have trouble finding an audience... |

This is pretty good. this will definitely make the radio. the production is hot and the verses are really good. although the chorus is pretty dull ... but over-all it's a mean song. 4 stars from me gee cause im a tree.

Dare I say that I'm a bigger fan of Kingston's debut material?
The production is Red One to the T, and although I don't mind the heavy use of synths (all over the place these days...) - I could be starting to get tired of their overuse in these pop-oriented dance floor joints. Leave it to the Lady GaGa's where it belongs and in my opinion sounds better...Won't deny though that it does have the possibility to infect the radio, the clubs and the people...I'll shake to it if necessary. |

This is club ready but all of his songs seem too alike or is that just me? Nice production but not a standout from him

Y'know, this track is kinda catchy lol. And you will definitely hear this playing all over the states, if not in the near future, then definitely in the summer. Kingston is a very solid mainstream artist. And this does not disappoint. I'm going to go out on a limb and give it classic status, because this is the first song I've heard so far in '09 (with maybe the exception of B.E.P.'s Boom Boom Pow) that will be played for several more months on the radio before it loses appeal. Nice job, Kingston.

Oh God I don't like this at all!!! At first i thought i would, but it sounds hella corny and generic. The production sounds like something you'd hear on the Wiggles and they're trying to teach the kids about fire safety while singing about it. I'm not feeling it all. I hated Beautiful Girls when it first came out, but it grew on me...this will def not be the same way. I hope this is not his next single cause I have a feeling that NO ONE will request it. Sean is going in the wrong direction here and he needs to switch it up. Cool concept/lyrics...hate the beat/production.

This song is a lil stupid to me, but I see it could go hard in the clubs. It's extremely catchy and full of energy. I don't like so much the melody, but it's an overall cheerful track

The fire one the dance floor is from the Redone production. He is the hottest in the game right now. Kingston was just OK, but it's hard to ruin a song with that production.

Knew Kingston could came back with another one and here it is. Not quite as good/unique as "beautiful girls", but still a pretty hot song. And kingston still retains his unique song.
