The 140th entry in our DJBooth.net Freestyle Series comes courtesy of Sean Falyon, the Philly-bred, Atlanta-based emcee last featured with Freddie Gibbs/BoneCrusher-assisted album leak All I Know. On his brand new, exclusive Falyon in the House freestyle, the currently-unsigned up-and-comer flows over a Detroit Red-produced beat originally featured on Nipsey Hussle‘s Hussle in the House. Sean Falyon is currently working on a new studio album entitled Sean Falyon “BE” Everywhere, set to drop “soon.”

Readers can download a copy of the newly-released In the Booth (Volume 3), featuring exclusive freestyles 61 through 90, here! Volumes one and two are available for download here and here.

Nipsey's version was one of my favorite West Coast joints of 2009, so it would take a MIGHTY effort from Sean (or anyone for that matter) to outdo the original version. However, that isn't what the DJBooth Freestyle Series is all about.

I like the rhymes here (and wish there was more of them), but a tad bit more energy will help Sean in the long run. A worthy addition to the series.

Yo DJZ, maybe you could encourage rappers to freestyle over famous/hit-single production, I think that would be pretty cool. Just a thought.

Quick reactions:

I can't get over the Kriss Kross sample, damn that ish takes me back.

Can't hate on this - it's what a freestyle's supposed to be.

Faylon has the potential to be the 4th member of the Mt. Rushmore of Hip-Hop Beards (currently occupied by Khaled, Rick Ross and Freeway). Live the dream Faylon.

Ain't liking his voice over this beat. It keeps your head nodding but also distracts you from following Sean's rhymes.
