According to UrbanDictionary, Art Goons are people who “indulge in their artistic lifestyle mentally and physically,” but still, “maintan credibility and hold their own.” A prime example of the archetype, Bay Area emcee sayknowledge introduces our readership to his highbrow, yet ‘hood style with the lead single off his forthcoming full-length. Mars Today provides a mellow instrumental backdrop for the Bay Area buzzmaker’s rhymes, and fellow DJBooth newcomer Cashius Green tops the record off with some smooth guest bars. Sayknowledge’s next album has yet to receive a title, but is scheduled for release in early 2013. Keep it locked for release details, as well as all the latest tunes.
