With early October’s Coyotes, Sam Lachow and Raz revealed the first of Five Good Reasons that we shouldn’t be sleeping on them. Today, they present another: Money. No, they’re (unfortunately) not going to reward you for listening in cold, hard cash—but they do have some insights into the paper chase that should cause hip-hop heads to prick up their ears. On this freshly-minted song release, Lachow and Maggie Brown create a smooth, downbeat backdrop for rhymes exploring the lengths to which desperate individuals will go to amass currency and the power that it represents. Complete with a throwback hook featuring samples from a few of the duo’s own records, Money is just one of several persuasive jams to be found on the twosome’s latest EP, available online as of September 17.

I know its song profiling (hey, we all do it), but records with the title "Money" usually, well, suck. Sam and Raz don't suck, though, so the trend has been bucked with their new video/single.

Like this storytelling on this one. It feels like it is lacking some energy though. Liking the background samples throughout the song. I feel like the chorus is the best on this.

Sam is deff one of the most talented rappers in his genre, a true artist and magician, personally loving the beats and raz's lyrics are on point! .. 5 Good Reasons lives up to the title

I like big butts and I can.....not lie.Ive heard other stuff from Lachow and its pretty soothing no homo(of course).I went to a show At the pyramid lounge in nyc and this lil nigga won a competition against a whole bunch of "typical"rapper types(with repetitive hooks like ,i shit you not "b..m..w.....b...m....w....b....m...w @*#$! I am in my ,@*#$! i am in my b.....m....w)he got my attention with the live instruments and i ran up on some french fry ,Mr burns type nigga and asked him for a some other shit i could listen to from dude and he gave me "brand new bike" I bumped that shit all summer and had sex with some white girls for the first time thanks lachow ....and the new shit hes got with Raz is on some other shit though these guys work well together like Jesse and Walt before all the drama.More like mike and gus actually......unlike that guy demart78

Been a fan of Sam Lachow since his debut album, Brand New Bike (go get that, and his Avenue Music EP if you haven't already). Raz & Sam Lachow hit it right on the MONEY with this song/video, along with the rest of their work together on 5 Good Reasons. Dope beat, dope lyrics, dope video. These kids have yet to disappoint. Shout out to DAP!!!
