Is it just me, or have there been some serious black power vibes in the Booth lately? Just days after the release of Gun, a single which saw Brooklyn’s Rilgood invoking the radical anti-cop message of Huey P. (So it’s kinda like Forrest Gump, but with way more melanin). The song itself is equally fresh and incendiary, with DJ Corbett serving up a street-ready, organ-driven groove to back the Big Apple rhymesayer and D-Block member Styles P. as they emphasize the qualities that set them apart from their peers in the game. Craving more hard-hitting cuts from Sai and company? Then be sure to pick up a copy of his sophomore full-length, Greatest Story Never Told Chapter 2: Bread & Circuses, on your way to the polls on November 6.
