After wrapping up his new self-titled debut and turning it in to his label, Universal Motown, Ryan Leslie decided that he wasn’t done recording. After several studios sessions post-completion, Leslie concocted Addiction; a collaboration with his own NextSelection artist, Cassie. After receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback on the record, Leslie made the decision to hold off on releasing his debut (originally scheduled for release in June) until later this August. Now, as the single begins to get a strong push at radio, Fabolous, a long-time industry friend of Leslie’s, has jumped on an official remix. As both a businessman and musician, R. Les’ has a true grasp on how to make hit records.
Fabolous kills this shit. When i saw him in concert over the winter i was really dissapointed, but he always brings it on remixes and guest features. This beat is hot, I can definetly listen to this often.
You can watch Ryan making this song on his YouTube channel. He knows how to combine that authentic R&B sound with club banging beats. The bridge, the breaks, the hook, everything about the structure of this record is addicting! Once Ryan's debut album drops, he's going to be consider one of the biggest R&B acts in music. Of course, Fabolous always delivers on rhyming about the ladies.
I didn't feel this track, but when Fab jumped on it, I gave it another chance and now I like it...

Yea i'll give it a 4. Fabolous's verse was better than I thought it would be. This should be the regular single as opposed to the version without Fab. It would be a great single to get his name out and let ppl know that Cassie's still around, too!
Since there’s not much difference on the (great) production from the original version, I can’t rate it higher, but Leslie still IMPRESSES me when he sounds as good as JOHN LEGEND (anyone)?) singing the bridge! He’s one of the few producers who I welcome to ALSO sing! Cassie sounds as sexy as she looks. Loso is always a nice feature.
I've been listening to this all day. I loving this song. I even like Cassie's part and I can't stand her voice.LOL!! Ryan was really good and Loso in case you didn't kno so had me cracking up "she sound like poogie". Great Remix!!! Banger 4 me, people will be feeling this off in the club~(**)~
This is hot! Production is very good. Ryan does kinda remind me or John alil. Cassie's tone is sexy, the breakdown after the hook reminds me of a michael Jackson rift which is always a good thing. Fab kills his verse. This has hit written all over it!

Solid track but they coulda done more with it since its a remix. Overall, FABOLOUS did his thing but its not a real remix its just a little adjustments here and there...I doubt anyone in the club will even realize its a different song.
