When you’re hustling as hard as DIEMON artist Russ, taking a couple weeks off to ill on a tropical island is out of the question. That doesn’t stop him, however, from taking a chemically-assisted Vacation from his sanity on the latest single and title track off his next full-length. Coming on the heels of promotional single Let Me Know, this woozy, artist-produced jam finds the ATLien buzzmaker working both sides of the boards. Over a canvas of woozy harp samples and Chipmunked vocal harmonies, Russ mimics the disordered thoughts of a drugged-out lunatic so well it feels like he’s for real. The result is a joint likely to leave fans disoriented and slightly worried about the artist’s mental health—but most of all amped for his forthcoming full-length. Though the project has yet to receive a solid drop date, we in the Booth will keep you supplied with all the latest news and tunes.
