As the summer heats up, party anthems and laid-back pool jams will begin to receive equal attention and constant spins from radio outlets across the country. Knowing exactly how it all works (unlike most rappers who continually fail to grasp the concept of a ‘radio record’), Filipino-American rapper Roscoe Umali enters his song into the race for the season’s ‘hottest jam’ with the obligatory “for the ladies” anthem, Anything You Want (I Got It). Assisted by rising star Colby O’Donis and produced by Amil G., the Los Angeles native is—stop me if you’ve heard this before—ready to show his woman the finer things in life, if she decides to be with him. Hey, here at the Booth we always say, “If it works, why try and fix it?” Right, Roscoe?
What are yall on about?? Diz is badd!! real summer song, sound heapz like Ludaz "Pimin all over the World" haha.. I like it.. O'Donis definitely makes the song thow..
Production is hot! colby brings it at all times. I'm ready to see what body of work he goona bring to the table with his album. This seems like his song honestly, where's dudes flow?
I love colby O'donis... and this is definitley a summer joint... but I'm not so sure Roscoe Umali should be on this.. maybe plies should of hopped on the verses...
Summer-time smashes need not be criticized for their lyricism or depth; it is what it is yo! Roscoe and Colby sound real good together, but Amil just kills the beat. This will be spinning on the west coast, how bout in your city?
im not gonna dog the lyrics or anything because, after all, it is meant to be a chill, laid back summer joint. colby o sounds good on this, but i just can not get on track with umali's flow. it just feels very forced and 'amateur-ish'
