In late ‘08, veteran producer Ron Browz emerged as a solo artist, buoyed by the success of Jim Jonesremix of his independent hit, Pop Champagne, and his hook on Busta RhymesArab Money.  When he tried Jumping [Out The Window] all on his lonesome, though, he crashed and burned, and the single’s poor performance put a halt to his plans for debut album EtherBoy.  Today, Browz is back with a potential single that may be his best shot at crossover fame to date.  On the newly-released cut, Browz and Keri Hilson admit that they’re just Simple folks, each looking for someone they can relate to.  Though Juelz Santana scatters a few bars in the beginning and middle, the highlight (as always) is Ron’s beat; for the first time, I think he’s found one that mixes well with that crazy Autotune!  Either way, Simple should have no trouble earning spins nationally, and its appeal is likely to earn EtherBoy a solid release date (look for it in early to mid-summer).

the beat is catchy and i like juelz... but why would you put auto tune on this?? dont artists realize its a gimmick? check kanyes' last album, it sold like half of what his previous album sold...

@ peezee - Autotune is Ron Browz's trademark, even though it's copied from many others. I have a feeling you wouldn't want to hear him without the autotune, though.

3 stars for production and guests.

Never been a fan of Ron Browz but I was impressed. This song was tight and all of the guest features came hard.

Haha I'd hate to hear him w/o the autotune after hearing how bad he can F even that up. Anyway the production is pretty cool and Juelz is real tight. Unfortunately he is accompanied by 2 of my least favorite artists on the track. Keri Hilson is forgettable. I have to say that out of all of the tracks i've heard (solo) from Browz he makes his ugly/monopitch vocals fit the best on this. However, its far from rotation.

PEEZEE, u r stupid, kanyes album went platinum because it attracts everyone, not just the hiphop listeners, and platinum is good enough. Autotune is selling right now even, this will grow on you

Keri and Juelz came correct on this one; stealing the show entirely. Browz needs to stay behind the production boards; the beat on this is flame (although Nas' "Ether" will always be his claim to fame). In contrast, his vocals are weak and he seems to struggle staying on beat.

I want to like this song Cos The production & the melody is catchy ... but dat Browz ... aarrghhh ... he needs to stick to producin beats cos his skills on mic are just simply bad ... but imma def throw 3* on dis for Keri & Juelz's simple yet effective lyricism ... He always does good on R&B features like this ...
glad to see that none of yall feelin the Ron's part ... DAMN!! never knew i can be that good (or bad) as a hater ... hahaha ...

If Ron Browz wasnt on this I would definitely like this much more. The beat is good and both Keri Hilson and Juelz Santana seem like a perfect combo. Ron Browz voice is just annoying to me and I probably will never get over it especially when his voice is off beat. 2 stars

I've been enjoying Ron Browz stuff, even jumpin out tha window. Keri does good as usual but I don't think she needed any autotune on her verse. I like Ron Browz verse but not all the random things he says throuhgout the track. Juelz is pretty good but sounds almost a lil too serious for this fun track.

I dont have a problem with Browz using auto-tune, though I still dont like this track. None of them are really all that good on this (which is hard for me to say since Juelz is on the track) & the production is average at best.

Keri Hilson is one very overrated singer, she has butchered so many good beats in the last year. I just dont get why she gets praised so highly.

The fact that Ron is such a crafty producer is what bothers me about this record. It would have sounded great with someone (Akon?) else besides him on it.

I don't know why Juelz bothered here, he barely got the chance to say much of anything. As far as this beat goes is as far as this record will go.

I'm feelin the production in here, but I don't really like how they changed dudes' voices...they sound too distorted. It could have been a banger, but they need to change the vocal effects

Again, the monotone auto-tune on Ron Browz prevents me from rating all his songs a 5. He has amazing production, but his artistry is not original.

Keri and Juelz were both fire though. They know how to sing and rap respectively.
