Though Caribbean-pop twosome Rock City‘s PTFAO (Put the F*cking Album Out) campaign didn’t ultimately succeed (the duo recently parted ways with Konvict Muzik), brothers Don’t Talk Much and Da Spokesman aren’t down for the count. If the title of their forthcoming free album isn’t enough to demonstrate just how great they’re feeling right now, then determination-drenched single We On should do the trick. Here, Cam Wallace‘s booming boardwork sets the stage for verses jam-packed with revelry and hater-bating. Like what you’re hearing? it's cool, they some dope writers. especially good when it comes to melodies. but this is not a single I would pump over and over again. this is not the one that will help them to blow up as artists...

Now, I have been a fan of Rock City since Losin' It, but I don't think I have heard another tune on that level until now. This absolutely bangs no question. Also, I am extremely stoked (as is a lot of other people) that Rock City has been released by Akon's label.

I love it how this song sounds a lot like mainstream but it's not. Because then I have a lot more respect for the artists. The fact their on the independent chart and the fact that this is really good just makes me want to listen to it even more. Thank you Rock City.
