Before he signed a deal with Young Jeezy’s offshoot label, CTE West, Carson, California, MC Roccett got his proverbial “grind on” thanks to a boatload of mixtape work. Now, gearing-up to release his first mixtape on his new label, Roccett is ready to show the rest of the country his idea of Corporate America. The debut offering gives a strong indication about just how hard he Run(s) These Streets, as Roccett moves from one street topic to the next with an ease not often seen around his label. To accent the track, producer Veterano puts in board work that sounds like it came straight from out of an Oscar-worthy gangster film. Corporate America is a prelude to Roccett’s debut studio album, neither of which has a set release date at this time.
from tha start i could tell this one wuz a hit...full of energy and lyrics...hot...im feelin his swagg....no homo...but i can bump this one in tha whip...or at a party...digg???...~
The production is on point by Veterano! I am feeling the flow; but I definitely need a few more tracks to see if he is the TRUTH or not. This is a great attempt. He comes pretty hard on here. Strong Mixtape Banger tho!
Average...I'm feelin the beat, but lyrics to me are weak! Used quite a few lines we've all heard in other songs done by 50 and other artists. I actually feel like I've heard this song one too many times, just cuz he says nuthin we haven't already heard a million and one times already.
I like the beat...well in most hip hop songs I like the beat, it's the flow or the melody that usually disappoint me...just like in this song! His flow is boring, after a minute I stopped the player...
