After a very rocky start to his career, Robin Thicke has worked hard to find his place in the music industry, and in the process has established a growing fan base who love Thicke for his always smooth soul style. Those classy ways are on display again on his new single Sex Therapy (which, it goes without saying, is my favorite kind of therapy). With Polow Da Don as producer, Thicke’s normally organic sound is given some subtle but effective heavy bass undertones and erotic synths, resulting in a slowly hypnotizing and sexy track that I could see Ciara or Keri Hilson jumping in on for a duet remix. Future remixes aside, Sex Therapy sounds like it could be his biggest radio hit since his breakthrough Lost Without U. Fans in need of some more Sex Therapy (aren’t we all?) will have to wait: Thicke’s upcoming fourth studio album currently has no title or release date.

Hmmm, this was different. Falsetto approach had me scratching my head a bit. This isn't my type of music, coming from a 22 year old male. But I can respect the fact that babies will be made to this.

Aside from the old-school melody-jack job, this is without a doubt one of Robin's catchiest radio-oriented records. In fact, I would be supremely shocked if this one doesn't hit large at radio. After Jeremih's "Birthday Sex," we could all use a little "Sex Therapy."

I see this being big on urban radio, though I cant see this being a pop hit. Production is good (as expected) from Polow & Robin Thicke sounded good.

Birthday Sex had much better production. Polow came with the exact sound as he always does. This is a perfect example of why the radio doesn't allow progression. Artists just copy success and hope for the same outcome. Robin Thicke can do much better.

Robin's vintage falsetto floats effortlessly over lush arrangement of thick bassline, sweet synths, though overall feel of the production does sound like something we’ve already heard. But its a legit "baby-making" joint and will get its spins on the radio, still, nothing too memorable in my opinion. Rotation-Stuff.

Decent stuff. Thicke's voice is so thin to me, he's always doing the breathy falsetto thing, that I can't get overly impressed, but he can still turn out a good tune. Decent, should be a hit on radio.

I like this song. it has a romantic atmosphere and a soulful music. Maybe I don't like so much how he sings (too softly) but song worths many listens

Polow's beat sounds EXACTLY like other similar ones (Ciara's "Promise" and Mario's "Crying Out For Me" come to mind)-Given the fact that his business is with Interscope, this doesn't surprise me. Robin comes with it as always, so I think a few groups of triplets will be made to this one...

Side note: Anybody know if Robin still rolls with the Neptunes & Star Trak anymore or if it's just a "label formality" thing now?

its ok. kinds dissapointing considering its Robin Thicke and Polow. he should leave the falsetto to The Dream.

I think this will be a great fit for radio. It's not my favorite track from thicke, but I was really feelin the melody and subject matter.

Robin Thicke going to the Slow Jamz? WOW! I like Robin Thicke and this sound is sort of nice for him. But he has not found his signature style over the years. That is why his music has been fading into the background.

very smooth, very smooth. im glad he is back in the mix. great artist, huge fan. this cut does not stand out too much becuase some of the awsome songs has under his belt, but the production the vocals and the lyrics cant be denied.this would be a uber hit if someone relativly unknown sang it. Digs it
