Houston native and Universal Republic artist Rob G has seen his debut album, The Inauguration, get delayed for over a year, with no set release date from the label. As many fans suspected, the delays were due to a lack of radio-ready singles. Thus, Rob headed back into the studio to record a new track. While Private Dancer is a strong contender for strip-club airplay (don’t knock the concept, records get broken off in strip clubs), it somehow manages to avoid most of the clichés associated with the subgenre. Grill master Paul Wall feels right at home on Dancer (it’s his favorite topic besides slabs and ice), but the true credit goes to Papa Reu, whose production work and hook should give the single the automatic “banger” seal. The Inauguration is currently scheduled to drop later this year.
There is no sex in the champagne room... ladies and gentlemen of the GED class of 1999 I have one piece of advice for you, no matter what a stripper tells you there is NO SEX in the champagne room, none.
Don't go to a party with metal detectors, sure you may feel safe in side the party but what about all the NI!#** waiting outside the party with guns, they know you aint got one.
Cornbread aint nothing wrong with that.
If you remember one thing i've told you remember there is NO SEX in the champagne room!! -Chris rock-
By the way, this song is what it is
Rob is going to have a difficult time with this song at national radio. Houston might support this, but I can't say the same thing about a city such as my hometown of Chicago. Does Rob posses enough talent to overcome the poor-decision making in terms of single selection?
Is there a reggae mix of this song? This cannot be what I heard on Sirius reggae riddims but it is close. Whatever the reggae song is it is pretty good.
Without a doubt, this song is a banger. The best part of the song is not even Paul Wall. He is at most doing decent, but Rob G does a better part in the song. I got a friend who stole the mix cd because he like this song so much.
