When last we featured Riz, his Trey Songz-featuring Show You Bout It failed to receive much positive attention from Booth readers. This latest feature, however, is not by the same Riz. This RIZ is an unsigned R&B singer who’s angling for major-label attention with his new single, Rock The Bed. Expect this cut to earn high ratings in the Booth thanks to its bedroom appeal and RIZ’s smooth vocals, as well as the background energy and top-level production provided by the one and only Akon - if that doesn’t add up to a hit, we’re not sure what will! RIZ’s debut album, iRIZistable (get it?) is currently scheduled for release this summer.

Akon and RIZ are a dope combo! Im feeling this song and the other song they hooked up on called Professional. This has a catchy beat and a nice hook. Smooth vocals this is hot!

Was not expecting much with this one because I'm getting a little tired of Akon's bubble gum production, but I was caught off guard. This one can definitely make some moves in the club...around 1:30...when the mood is striking right....and you find that lady across the room...haha.

J. Holiday had BED, Dream has ROCKIN THAT THANG and now RIZ has ROCK THE BED. The similarities? They all have MASS radio appeal, solid club appeal, and real real catchy production as the source for such appeal.
The voice is okay, but the performance is worthy of rotation. I LOVE THE NEW RATINGS SYSTEM.

I only like it so far, but that's good enough for a first listen. I think it's a bit too generic with the repetitive hook and everything, but that's what's appealing these days, so I can't really complain. I honestly don't think his vocals are good enough, but this is still aight.

By the way yall should check he's earlier work "Flex" ft. Sauce Kid...he covers the Mad Cobra classic rather nicely |
