Fresh off the Billboard chart-topping success of lead single We Found Love, Rihanna returns with release numero deux off her forthcoming sixth studio album. On You Da One, Dr. Luke‘s isaland-flavored production (with a momentary foray into dubstep) sets the mood for sunny verses about RiRi’s infatuation with a special man. Talk That Talk is scheduled to hit record stores and onlnie retailers November 18—in the meantime, keep it locked to The DJBooth for the latest tunes.

Radio will overplay the crap outta this, even though it sounds like something a bunch of autistic elementary school kids would come up with.
Dr. Luke should stay away from dubstep; he isn't as good as Skrillex, Skream, Benga, Bassnectar, or even Chase & Status for that matter. |

I really hated We Found Love because spammed one-lined choruses are annoying. Rhianna sounds like she's into the vocals on this track. It's nice to see rhianna take a break from all the kinky stuff, and just do some ordinary tracks.
I've developed a love/hate relationship with Dr. Luke. Some of his tracks are just so pop trash, but this works as a semi-reggae joint. It's kind of like a follow up to Man Down. Can't wait to hear it on the radio in a couple weeks. |
