Rick Ross - Touch 'N You
Artist: Rick Ross
Featuring: Usher
Producer: Rico Love
Album: God Forgives, I Don't
Label: Maybach Music/Def Jam
Earlier this month, we heard Rick Ross play wingman to R&B heavyweight Usher, lending his high-rolling guest bars to club-ready single Lemme See. One good turn deserves another; now, Mr. Raymond’s jumped aboard the MMG general’s latest single, in hopes of helping him successfully woo, and keep the woman of his dreams. Previously featured on promotional mixtape Rich Forever, Touch ‘N You is something of a departure from Rozay’s trademark style, with veteran producer/songwriter Rico Love crafting an atmospheric synth instrumental as the South Floridian rap mogul acknowledges a certain shawty’s uncanny hold on him: “I think I wanna put a ring on it, I think I wanna tat her name on me / I’ve had lot of sexy women, but this ain’t the same for me.” Usher emphasizes the relationship’s physical side on the chorus, breathlessly announcing, “Nobody compares to your body.” Does this lovestruck single have you on Cloud Nine? You can find Touch and much more on Rick Ross’ God Forgives, I Don’t LP, due out July 31. In the meantime, don’t miss the Maybach crew’s sophomore compilation album, Self Made Vol. 2, when it hits record stores and online retailers June 26.

I had only heard the clean version, so I was a little surprised when I pressed play. I prefer the former, but regardless, this is a dope track.

maybe it will grow on me, I disagree with all of you commenters right now. When I listen to Ross I like his shit to bang, this doesnt. And I'm not down with Usher vocals that date back to 1998. Could have been a way sicker collabo

Decent track. This sounds more like an Usher track though, very R&B slanting. As bklyn4life said, I'd rather listen to Ross on a harder track. He needs another anthem! It's solid.

Rick Ross is not the best rapper out there, but he is smart and knows what he's doing, and there ain't no doubt this collaboration will be a pure success.

Not really a fan of this slower jam, his new track 'So Sophisticated' with Meek Mill REALLY bangs.

The track is smooth and sexy and I love it when he gives us ladies a little tenderness (think "Aston Martin Music") - Ricky baby, we don't really like to be looked at as an object: a bag of money.
Listen, love, protect, spend time and paper and you can get it Rozay, I'm just saying... *Rick Ross grunt* I am loving the combination of Usher and Rick Ross lately - "Lemme See" was a pleasant teaser and "Touch'N You" affirms this winning formula. R&B collabos truly highlight the softer side of The Bawse and it's an excellent marketing move - the ladies love Ross when he croons in that sexy self-assured voice about how he's gonna spoil and love us down. Sexy swag for the ladies equals increased sales and boosted appeal. I am a Rick Ross fan and I admit - I won't be falling over myself to listen to Self-Made Volume 2 mixtape, but I am hella hyped for his solo album God Forgives I Don't as his solo efforts have a broader appeal and always feature 'ladies love me' tracks. |

One of the best tracks Ross has ever done! Ross sounded well, Usher sounds characteristically super smooth and the beat is crazy smooth as well. Might be my favorite ladies-type jam that Ross has ever done!
