I know what you’re thinking: has Rick Ross given up the cocaine hustle to become a weed rapper?! Inconceivable! Well, fans of the Miami heavyweight can breathe a sigh of relief; Super High, the lead single off his hotly-anticipated fourth studio album, doesn’t really have anything to do with drugs at all – or, rather, it revolves around the most powerful drug of all: love. Here, The Remedy and DJ Clark Kent cook up an appropriately swanky, soul-sampled instrumental as the rapper pays homage to a female who has him flying high above the clouds, promising to supply her with all the finer things in life: bags, globetrotting vacations, expensive liquor, the works. Of course, it’s not a Rick Ross single without a big-name guest appearance; this time, it’s R&B heavyweight Ne-Yo who provides support, tying the whole package together with a characteristically smooth verse and chorus. Will this cut score Super High ratings in the Booth? That’s for you to decide. In any case, fans should keep it locked for all the latest release details on Teflon Don currently set to drop sometime this summer.

Beat on this one's already got me hooked. Ne-Yo's chorus does what it needs to here. I was definatly pleased with Officer Ricky's flow here. Much better than his recent material, even if they are mixtape songs.

Definitely a more of a R&B song than rap. I was hoping for better but a decent song overall. Ross's second verse is a bit different than what we are use to, not as deep and raspy. Ne-Yo lays down a smooth chorus but its not as good as what John Legend did for Magnificent. I have high hopes for Teflon Don and this is not the start I was hoping for. Magnificent was a good start for Deeper Than Rap and that album put out some decent hits, lets hope this is just a warm up for another good Ross album

Personally I can't take a rick ross song seriously when he spits about love. The beat on this is really what makes the song for me. Ne-Yo is sufficient on this song, however, not the best starting song for his next album.

Love Rick Ross when he has his smooth, royal sound goin with that hard-but-laid-back flow. And obviously, Ne-Yo kills that hook like always. Lovin it, good solid track.

Contains all the regular elements of a Rick Ross banger, but the execution was lackluster. This doesn't hold a candle to any of Ross' past singles. I am disappointed.

I think the hook is a little weak, but by the end of the track i'm diggin it. Ross is on somethin else. He's quickly becoming one of my favorite rappers. Always great music. And I'm still bumping Deeper Than Rap.

Considering Ross is usually the best in the game at picking production, I thought the board work was lacking something on this. Ne-Yo's contribution also didnt match up to what he usually delivers on guest features. Overall this track is decent, though its nothing I would expect to see at the top of the charts.

This kind of reminds me of when he dropped Magnificent. Soulful beat, check. R&B singer on the hook, check. Ross' deep-voice, slick flow, check. So really same ol' Rick but Magnificent was a good track so untill I get tired of him, I don't have a problem. Well actually I do, I would of liked a more soulful singer than Ne-Yo but that Clark Kent beat is the heart of the song.

The beat is kinda iffy with me. I like Ne-Yo on this. Its real smooth, but its a grower, not an instant fave for me.

Got a nice soulful feel to it. However, I think the beat might be too overcrowded at times. Rick Ross just overdoes it at some parts. Letting the beat breathe is a key part creating a track and I just feel it wasnt done in this one.

Ross knows how to pick that production. He makes great summer music. This is great production seeing as it wasn't produced by J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League which is his best combination. But otherwise I can see why people don't like this. I personally love it.

This is all R&B instead of rap. You can tell just alone from listening to the beat. The BPM cannot be any more than 85 at most. I am not saying that That all rap songs have a higher BPM but in general it is typically faster. This song is great to listen to if you are kicking back but I would defiantly not play this song in the club that I work at. In general I do like Rick Ross it is just that his style of music is not something that gets people pumped up that is why I am giving it a 3 or if I could a 2.5.

i am disappointed. The beat would have been nice for a mixtape track (wihtout a hook) Neyo was not needed and definitely did not help the song. It's not garbage,,, but it's definitely not good.

ey porta of miami type glide beat lovin it.but it gets old after awhile and loose intrest. its like he wants a classic beat wait no a club beat, wait no...you get what im sayin
"we doin it big its goin down in 9/11, im doing it big i ride up in 9/11" though aint cutting it. but im not hating, neyo does his best but its too much going on that you cant focus. its a song that can grow though, give it a second look before rating, its worth a try i give it a 3, nothin more nothing less but it wont get much love form the select button though. |

You got your typical Ross formula, which is a dope formula, fit for a bawse, but the final product is embarassing compared to the rest of his material built up in this fashion. Regardless, looking forward to his album.

Officer Ricky's flow always makes up for his kinda average content. He has kind of an imposing voice that tells you to and Ne-yo gives a as good as he can give but this song still comes short for me personally. could have been better

Really dig the bassline of the beat, with its soulful touch. They kinda went for a more toned down version of "Here I Am", with the live instrumentation and soulful feel. However, there's something about the track that doesn't quite make it flow right, however Ne-Yo's hook is decent and Ross' lyrics are listenable.
Not too impressed by it, but maybe it'll grow. |

The songs got a nice flow to it. I wasn't really feeling Rick Ross, it's not his best work. Ne-Yo on the other hand definitely made a big impprovement to the song. I think the chorus was catchy and was probably the only good part of the song.

Ross catches a lot of criticism but he's always consistent lyrically and appealing to the ears. Not feeling Ne-Yo on this at all, his style just doesn't fit here. It's too bad cause the production and Ricky sound good.

it sounds silky smooth.. the beat got a nice 70s flavor.. i like it a lot.. i'm pretty sure ross would shine over a barry white beat.. 4/5 |

Im surprised at the low ratings this song seems to have got...though i dont particularly like ricky ross, u cant front on this! The beat is craccckk some smooth laidback ol skool ish! U cant really call out the south as a whole for disintegrating hip hop when you have songs like this coming from some of those artists....ghostface would be proud lol.....ne-yo did his thing on the hook...as a whole this some is better than at least 90% of the songs out now. 4 stars banger!

You already know what it is. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. All the elements are there but still the impact is not as strong as his past singles. I was just hoping that it would be on the same league as "Magnificent", but left feeling let down. I hope this song is probably out just to feed the fans appetite.
That being said, even Rawse! weaker tracks are very listenable. Rotation fa sho! |

This is a laid back track at its finest. Clark Kent said the beat was customized for Ross and didn't want him to add any other artists just himself but I guess he felt otherwise. Ross needs to step it up and own a track like this without an R&B artist

Production is swanky, lovin the vibe n like the hook with Ne-yo but not his strongest poetry reading. Ricky brings some mush to the table while keepin it 100 but can't say it's strong enough to be a top single, although i give props for it not sounding like his other ode to shawty tracks

I don't know why so many people are always hating on Ross...He may not be the best lyrical rapper, but when it comes to songs like this he always does his thing. He makes hits whether people like it or not, and while this isn't one of my favorite joints from him, it just might be successful. Ne-yo always makes for a great guest feature with his singing, and Rick Ross always brings that rugged and gruff flow. At least this song actually has a meaning rather then his usual cocaine related mixtape songs

This song does absolutely nothing for me. The hook doesnt have enough energy to be a radio hit and the Officer himself doesnt do anywhere near enought to warrent me listening to this ever again. Sorry if its harsh but its the truth I expect better.

Wow... The beat is Crazy! I have heard better from Mr. Ross, but this is a great effort. I think this sounds like Earlier Rick Ross. I like Ne-Yo's addition to the track. Always smooth. I would def rate this a banger, can already hear it on the radio.

Best thing about this track is Ne-Yo. I'm tired of rappers that can't seem to put out a track without referring to women as b!tches or hos a dozen times in 3mins. This one is even worse with a cool mellow vibe interrupted with a bunch of b!tch & ho references
