Today Rick Ross called into Power 105 to premiere his new Drake assisted street single, Made Men, and also reveal the name of his upcoming album, God Forgives, I Don’t. (Yeah, he bit Cory Gunz mixtape title.) Produced by 2 Tall Beats, the instrumental interweaves mellowed out synths with hi-hat and snare combos that perfectly compliment Ross’s heavy flow. Although Ross’s flow is usually smooth yet aggressive, here it’s in-your-face to the point he’s almost roaring on the mic, from the opening line “Don’t even count the money no more, it doesn’t even matter,” (which, I have to say, is how Hammer lost it all), to the last bar. Although Rozay has a nice opening 16, Drake may have stolen the spotlight with just one line: “One of my baddest women ever, I call her Rihanna, but that’s cause her name is Rihanna.” It may be basic, but it was enough to send gossip blogs in frenzy! Although it didn’t make it onto the Ashes to Ashes mixtape as first intended, Made Men is rumored to be included on God Forgives. So what do you think friends, can Ross continue his hot streak this year?

A decent track by Rozay. He's going with the same formula recently and I'm most likely not the only one getting tired of it. Drake is pretty solid on here but I can't stand the production. I'll be nice today...

Is it just me, or does it sound like Rick recorded this song in a rush? He isn't his usual laid back self. He sounds like he was in a hurry. I could be wrong, but I've been told I have "an ear" for these things.

This track was less than impressive. The production was too laid back to cover up all of the "punch lines" in their verses that really didn't make any sense. If you can get passed that, Ross does sound pretty intense about his "Dolla bills!"

Ross just keeps dropping heat. This isn't anything great but it's just a nice leak to bump to. Ricky was his usual self but that's what i've come to expect from him. Drake was alright but I would of prefered a much harder rapper on a song like this. Keep the heat coming Ricky.

The productions sounds like it needs some more time on the mixing boards. I get the feeling that this is mixtape material and not album. Drake's verse was good but the quality of the beat made it sound like garbage. Dont you hear the echo in the booth.

Wow, the Rick Ross backlash is apparently in full effect. People are really getting worked up over this ish.
Rick Ross' gangster movie rap is my guilty pleasure, complaining it lacks substance is like complaining that a 40 of Olde English lacks nutritional substance. Far from my favorite cut he's dropped in the last few months, but I've got no problem with it. |

ima give a "in rotation" status because it will bump in the club..once in a while. definitely mixtape, low budget studio production quality tho.

Ahhh.... didn't even want to finish the track, literally cut it off, and I will usually listen twice before I comment. Ross sounds the same, I can't even tell you if he said anything different from his last tracks. It just sounded sluggish and unexcitable. This track did nothing for Drake, usually whatever he touches is golden but not here... can't save em' Drizzy!

How can Rick Ross and Drake be on the same record, and totally wreck themselves.... this is terrible. It sounds rushed... just like DJ Z said. Drake.... just stay away from Rick Ross. And Rick Ross... just stop. Plz.

I have never jumped on the Ross bandwagon, but he has killed tracks. (example: Devil in A New Dress). I keep listening to it and it just sounds like neither Drake or Ross put 100% into this one. Its an alright song, but not gonna make either one of their "Best Of..." CDs

How in the F-did I miss this track? Oh well...wasn't missing much anyway. That's a cool name for an album. This is like a BMF part two. Beat is pretty cool and simple. Rick Ross goes hard on here and Drake goes normal on here! LOL... anyway, it bumps enough for a rotation...
