When we featured Mafia Music, the first buzz single off Deeper Than Rap (dropping April 21), many members predicted that Rick Ross’ jabs at 50 Cent would result in a full-fledged beef. Four months later, the drama has turned into an all-out rap war, with each side vowing to ruin the other’s career. Hoping to drop an Ether-sized bomb, Ross has enlisted three longtime enemies of G-Unit for the official remix to the track that started it all. Though The Game (surprise) avoids any outright shots, Curtis’ oldest rival, Ja Rule, pointedly asserts his Queens supremacy, and Fat Joe takes jabs at quite a few of the Unit’s associates. Ross, of course, stands out, name-checking 50 and his son before finishing up with the first few verses of Psalm 27. With the power combo (and The Inkredibles’ epic beat), this remix will undoubtedly be a rallying cry for Unit haters, though one can’t help but wish Jadakiss and Nas were still beefing with 50 Cent (a guest verse from Young Buck would also have been nice).

The anti fiddy movement is in full effect here. I'm not crazy about the o@ version, but this is an up@rade. Not bad,

the bone to pick with ross is that when you are an entertainer your music is an extension of who you are, and who is ross? does anybody know? hes a facade. he could never do a personal song where he talks about his real self because his whole persona is made up

I give this Banger status solely for it's historical relevance; I can guarantee in a few years people (when discussing rap beef) will bring this song into conversation. I mean, honestly, these are 4 rappers supposedly "murdered" by 50 coming together in an attempt to resurrect their careers; it's a pretty epic moment. Anyways, the verses are strong on all parts (surprisingly) and, I have to say, I'm kind of excited to see Ja Rule on something (never thought I'd see the day). However, didn't Game say a few months ago that Ross stood no chance in this beef and should drop out? If so, I wonder if his participation in this remix is a demonstration in change of heart or rather an attempt to keep his name out there after LAX.

P.S. I don't think Young Buck and 50 have genuine "beef" so it's no surprise to me that Buck didn't get on this.
P.S.S. UndoneIDoIt = I can't wait to hear that comeback either (if it ever happens). It's safe to say that if Em and Dre come out that the beefs coming to a close. All four of these artists together wouldn't be able to hold a candle to Slim Shady. |

This track fails miserably in trying to one up 50. Fat Joe & Ja Rule are whack and Ross & The Game cant save this song from being ordinary. 1.5
The Game is probably kicking himself for jumping on such a mediocre track, especially considering the beef will be all but over if 50, Dre, Em & Banks make a comeback track. |

"UndoneIDoIt" i agree wit u 100 percent. Ja completely killed it, i thought everyone else was weak. but 50,em,dre would tear em up easily.

The track was tight. Everyone came pretty hard, but I wish some other artists would have jumped on, like M. Burmy stated. I'm looking forward to the comeback track by 50.

Like people before me have said, the day that Em comes back is going to be AArmggeddon for these guys. You can't beat who is undisputedly the best rapper alive (and, in my opinion, the best rapper EVER). None of these other guys will even matter; it'll be all about Em. This song has an OK flow overall, and a nice production, but the two don't mesh well. They didn't do a very good job of incorporating their flow into the beat. I won't be listening to this again. But, I'll give them their props, 'cause their "comebacks" will soon be overshadowed by Slim Shady. In Rotation.

This is a banger. For those talking about Ross and company ganging up fifty fall back and breathe. Everytime fif has it with someone he brings in Yayo and Banks. When Buck was there he did it too. He tried to get the Game to go against Nas and Fat Joe but he was cool with them and didn't want to go that route. Rule York put it down and Ross had that slick word play.

I never really got into the original, but the remix is a good look ... but i think this would have been so much better had they used the beat of "Cigar Music" cos that instrumental is classic ... but its clear why they chose 'Mafia' over 'Cigar' ...
I aint feelin Game on this at all, his voice came out all muffled & his verse was only Ok ... on the other hand Ja was pretty solid (im surprised too) mainly bcos his voice was much much clearer than the usual ... Ross & Joe did their thang too by going all out droppin name-bombs ... I agree with 'bowwserr' that a comeback track by 50 & Em is gonna be AArmggeddon for these guys ... |

Definitely a banger, I liked this beef right here. Both sides are coming hard, and neither one have showed any signs of slowing down. So the question is how will 50 respond to this? I don't see Em/Dre interfering with this, Ja went directly at 50. He remembers what happened the last time he went at Eminem. I like his verse on here though, his verse was my favorite.

Why does the game sound likme Jay Rock or Glasses Malone, he sounds like a dickhead! Ja Rule is usin autotune so I cant say anythin about him lol. Fat Joe already gt destroyed by G-Unit (Elephant In The Sand lol), and hes just tryin to create buzz for his shitty album. And I'm Not Christian, but dont people find it offensive and damn right ignorant that Ross is quoting the BIBLE in a song that is promoting violence.
P.S. - GAME SAID ON RADIO THAT 50 IS 'EATING HIM UP' (RICK ROSS), AND 'CALL HIM UP IF HE NEEDS HELP; AND WHAT DOES ROSS DO - GETS GAME TO HELP HIM. WHAT A CRY FOR HELP!!!!!! |

@Mr.Cincy23 - If you know anything about Eminem, then you know we are on the verge of herting his first serious track off his new album. Don't know about you, but that song will more than likely rip this mediocre track TO SHREDS.

Production is great - like I said the first time around. But now, I'd like to discuss the three guest features...
Game - Bro, whats up with your voice? Where did you record this guest 16? Ja - I've always been a fan and you really came with it here. Get back from Europe and get back in the lab. Joey - You are a funny, dude. I could listen (and laugh at) you taking shots at Banks and Yayo all day. |

I don't think Game and 50 have a beef, I think he was just put on here for "show." 50 has already ended Ja Rule and Fat Joe's careers (even though Fat Joe didn't need much help since he's whack), so they just need to give up on the beef and move on. Still nice to hear from Ja Rule though, just wish I could hear something different from him other than stabs at 50. This only gives 50 more motivation to make another song/video about Ross. 50 becomes irrelevant when he isn't beefing with anyone, so if they really want to end his career, just don't say anything about him!!!!!!

Production is amazing as you'd expect from Inkredibles, the break before Ross is amazing!
Nice to see Ja Rule come back so interesting (lil voice change, flow). Ross is so untouched by this beef, musically! It made him stronger if anything! The song is really historic as already pointed out, it's up to you to figure it out unbiasedly. For example, stop with the "peezee-like" comments about this being weak because it has features. Consider it "help" is absurd! They simply wanted to. Would you say Eminem, 50 and Busta Rhymes "joined forces to defeat" Ja Rule on "Hail Mary"?!? It sounds absurd, doesn't it? -.-' They just wanted to! It's even more absurd when we're talkin about 50 cent, who always has "help" from his G-Unit members. And I really don't understand what Em and Dre have to do with this!!! Did anyone diss them? No... -.-' Stop bringing them up, I hope it doesn't happen! Why are people so eager to see someone end someone else's career? 50 may be the only one who did that with beef, but that's certainly not why I liked his work from GRODT to Massacre. |

I don't know what U guys think about this, but to me this is sooo childish !! two confrontated sides makin diss tracks, taukin shit bout each other, ..it's just ridiculous! ...grown men... yea right
if you really got issues, then why don't ya guys just meet somewhere and talk it out, or if you can't talk like grown man then put your gunz out and shoot each other so I don't need to listen to your shit any more!! oh, yea, i forgot, you don't have guns, ya'll just fake ass @*#$! talkin big, so you can impress these naive kids who buy everything you release.. @*#$! that shit!!! I'm not interested in your shit!!! I do wanna hear good rap-music, but I don't wanna hear you 'beefin' anymore. p.s. real beef happens on the street, not on the cd! |

This is definitely a banger and Ross keeps improving on the mic. The Boss is crushing 50 musically and I don't think it would matter if Em gets involved. Em is good but very overrated in my book. Nobody's afraid of Aftermath. Em probably wrote most of the disses that G-Unit has been coming with already. Ross has too many allies while Fif has too many enemies. I just hope it plays out peacefully. I don't want to see more murdered rappers.
