Though the tragic passing of Michael Jackson has spurred fans everywhere to revisit the musical legend’s iconic contributions to popular culture, I think it’s still safe to assume that “Hey baby, wanna spend the night at my Neverland Ranch?” won’t be appearing on any “Top Ten Pickup Lines” lists anytime soon. Unless the list is titled “The Top Ten Weird Pickup Lines Most Likely to Get You Slapped.” Of course, if your name is Rick Ross, you just might be a big enough boss to make something happen. On this new, unreleased cut, the Maybach Music head honcho teams up with former R&B mainstay Sleepy Brown to take the ladies to a land where dreams come true—of course, the dreams Ross is talking about are strictly of the grown-and-sexy variety. Big D, producer of Deeper Than Rap cut Murda Miami, backs the collaborators (respectively) rapped and sung fantasies with a ritzy, funk-soul beat as smooth as anything on the rapper’s third studio album. It’s clearly not meant as a serious “tribute record,” but this track is sure to put smiles on the faces of listeners looking for an MJ-inspired joint with a lighter feel.

I refuse to consider this record at all related to MJ. Ross's heart was in the right place, but the relation is off to say the least. Shouts to Big D who is consistently delivering dope production.

I think Ross is CRAZY in this but I honestly think Sleepy Brown brings down the song a little bit, wasn't feeling him at all. While I like the song I don't really see why he would pick Neverland as something to make a song about with the whole MJ situation. I was expecting some sort of tribute but this has nothing to do with MJ at all, its a hot song regardless but why Neverland.

I normally LOVE Sleepy's slightly off-key vocals because they are so soulful. I'm not sure they are the perfect fit over this production, though. Ross's flow and vocal tone aren't exactly a great fit on here for me either, and he was the same old Ross on the lyrical tip. The production, I thought, was great on its own. It did make me smirk, just because of that happy "Never Never Land"/fantasy feel it had to it. The production alone, plus a decent concept, is enough to give this a 2.5: and I'll round up...

the song itself is good, but i also dont get it. whoever is in charge of deciding wat songs go on this album is on somthin, no relation plus the song isnt even worthy of bein considered great, let alone be on a kings tribute album. gotta bump it down jus for that.

Ross' best song hes ever made or will make doesnt even deserve to have any relation or consideration to MJ.

LMFAO! SLEEPY KILLIN ME ON THE HOOK! that dude makes anything sound like velvet. I don't really understand what he is trina say. Neverland ranch doesn't connect with me as a catch phrase 4 what he was trina imply. However he did dedicate this to MJ (shouts to RON ARTEST WHO CHOOSE #37 to honor MJ's thriller album, which stayed on the charts at #1 for 37 weeks. STAND UP MOVE!!) This song is not really good...

i was very disappointed with this one, if you are going to dedicate a song to one of the greatest entertainers of all time at lest do it with some class, this has none at all. At least Sleepy Brown did a good job on the hook.

im over all these rappers making MJ tributes. Id be happy if I didnt have to hear another one, though I would like to here a couple of tributes by some of the current big names in R&B.
The production was pretty tight on this |

The whole thing sounds off to me. Ross's vocals are too loud, hook sounds just ok and lyrics are weird, rick ross isnt taking anyone to a "neverland ranch" and im sick of ross telling us how freaky he is.
