All right, everybody—put all the fake leaks of Rick Ross’ official Magnificent (Remix) aside, because this right here’s the real deal. After watching several supposed remixes hit the ‘net over the last few weeks, the Boss has elected to end all the speculation by releasing the legit version. As for the record itself, well, if you really liked the original, you’ll really like this revamp. J.U.S.T.I.C.E League‘s beat is unchanged, but Ross comes with new lyrics, as well as enlisting Big Boi, Special Ed, and Diddy for guest-verse and ad lib assistance. Special Ed’s middle bars stick close to Ross’ high-rolling blueprint, but Big Boi’s fluid and relaxed rhymes prove a perfect complement to the Maybach general’s gruff flow. Judging by the rave reviews the Deeper Than Rap lead single earned the first time around, this official remix seems destined for success, but I’ll leave it to you, the readers, to decide how it stacks up.

Just as good as the original, but Diddy's vocals throughout the song nearly ruin it. It's just uneccessary and his voice doesn't sound right on the track. The Boss came wit a nice switched up verse, Specail Ed fit well over the production, and Big Boi is nuts. His verse worked so well on this track, he's amazin.

Diddy ad libs are a right of passage in the remix world. I laugh every time I hear him on a new one. Just like the original, the production here steals the show. As for the verses, as Dr. D pointed out, Big Boi's flow works the best.

Diddy ruined the vibe of this song but other than that no complaints. Rick Ross brought a hot new verse and Special Ed was nothing special but he didnt ruin the song either. Big Boi was the highlight like previous readers stated b/c his lyrics are perfectly suited for this beat. Just as good as the original!

Remixes...how many of them have I heard that were completely unnecessary? I lost count at 5 bagillion.
Aaaaanyways. As others have pointed out, Big Boi killed it. Other than that, nothing too special. Then again, I wasn't a big fan of the original. |

@Teddyp - That's a big leap, dude. If you've read some of the Eminem threads, you'd know that there was a big debate on 2Pac vs. Eminem. But never have I heard that Rick Ross is better than Em. That's a stretch, to say the least. I'd be interested in hearing your reasoning behind it, however. (Other than the simple fact that you think that one of Eminem's songs sucks.)
