Shortly after our fine friends at Def Jam held off on the release of Rick Ross’ sophomore album Trilla until February, his lead single Speedin’ took off (no pun intended) with the assistance of its corresponding video premiere. To increase the popularity of the single, the self-proclaimed Boss and his original collaborator, R. Kelly, have paved the way for an assist from teen sensation Chris Brown. In heavy rotation at both MTV and BET, and even used on a telecast of ESPN’s Monday Night Football, Ross looks as though he will race into ’08 with plenty of momentum behind him.
I am so biased on everything from ricky ross bcuz he is my least favorite rapper in the game, but chris brown made this track a lil hotter. I'll give it a 2 for the original, 3 for this remix.
Usually I don't expect much from Ross because his flow is the same on every song he spits on. "Speedin" is the first song I've heard from him where he sounds new and fresh. The chorus is what takes this record to a new level, Chris Brown sounds great.
Finally Speedin' is coming around. Anyways, the remix job itself wasn't that good. Chris Brown did a pretty good job on the chorus, but that's the only difference from this and the old. I was hoping for some new verses. With the chorus, aside, they just threw in a lot (more) vocals and flipped the order. HOWEVER, I can't hate. The song is just so dope, no matter what they do to it. With that said, if the original is a five, this is a four.
I LIKED THE ORIGINAL, BUT THIS REMIX W/ CHRIS BREEZY IS EQUATE TO IT IF NOT MORE, DEFINITELY GON BE BANGIN THIS IN THE RIDE. OH BUT RICK AINT HAF TO FANTASIA'S ILLETERACY. BESIDES THAT RICK,KELLS, N CHRIS DID DEY THANG.
I agree the echo is horrible and honestly how do you replace R. Kelly with Chris Brown on the chorus? I thought the original was a 4 star, but this one gets a 3.
personally i never paid much attention to rick ross's song because you cant really dance to them, but i was surprised when I heard "speedin". I think its a great song, not a huge fan of the echo but other then that i like the remix.
roick ross has the best hooks on every song so cb126405 can go suck a dick all his shit is he shit got lil wayne on every thing got to have some money to put him on your cd
i don't think R kelly did well on this at all. "sittin in the livin room watchin the grammys, wishin that was me that was on the grammys." and rhyming wings with wings later on... come on now, his part is kind of annoying lyrically.
Ricky Ross comein back!!Not dat much a fan of Chris Brown but him,and R.Kelly was killin it in da chorous. And Rick Ross was comein out with the flow. Nice beat too.

Rick Ross is one of the best rappers in the game rite now he can rap im so addicted to this song rite now Chris Brown can sing and he makes the song hot and he cute R.Kelly can sing and he makes the song raw to specially when he says cant stop thats all i knw dats one of my favorite lines of the song my otha favorite is when Rick says look dat white gurl n da face n tell her dis was our last dance this song is so amp
The original track is one of my fav hip-hop songs, this remix is too crowded, like DJRoyale wrote! I don't like the echo, in my opinion it's an useless edit.
