During the time that has passed since Rick Ross’ sophomore album, Trilla, was supposed reach store shelves (December 18 of last year), the 305 Boss has been busy making sure that his fans remain interested in the project. Thus far, Ross has done a very good job; he has seen success on the album’s second single, the T-Pain assisted The Boss, and the recently featured album track, Luxury Tax, received overwhelmingly-positive feedback. On the final ‘new listen’ before the album finally drops on March 11, the Boss is assisted once again by J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League production and a feature from former Def Jam boss, Jay-Z, on the slow ridin’ Maybach Music. Listen, and then promptly circle your calendar.
Jay comes with his best as usual, I like Ross's flow on this one. I'm not a HUGE Ross fan, but this is def. one of the top Ross tracks I've heard. Now that we've heard The Boss, Luxury Tax, and Maybach Music the real question I have is if Ross saved any other gems for Trilla. We'll find out soon.
If this album sounds like this track and the others; then everyone is in for a real treat! Rick Ross is a true lyricist! (for everyone that still doesn't know) This has a sick beat and Ross does his thing over this. I like the drum riffs and Jay-Z was made for this track. Banger $hit!
am a huge jay z and lately i've been listening to rick ross a lot. cos i think hes one of the most talented rappers out there right. so to me this combo is off the chain. can't wait for rick's album to drop.
This track definitely pushed me over the edge to join the Rick Ross bandwagon. Love the Jay-Z influence and his feature in this track. If I had a Maybach, I can't think of any other track better to roll with.
I got to agree with Obecalp. This track just pushed me over the edge to pick up Trilla. This beat was perfect for Jay-Z and Rick really held his own with Jay. Overall great collabo.
I dont have a Maybach but I can definitely ride to this....real good track....Rick is really impressing me lately..not that I didnt cop the first album but Im just feeling the lastest stuff he putting out...showing me that he here to stay
As of 9:30 this morning, it seems to me that this bandwagon is almost full. Get on or get off, because Ricky has a special album in store for everyone. If you liked the first LP, this is going to blow it out of the water!
begging got me into it!!
love jayz' flow!! .. you could tell that nigga grew up alot!! but this song is ight.. not all that ... i know yall rich i cant really relate to that at all!!... love the beat to but i think i heard this song already for some reason!!... SORRY EVERYBODY
I can't front, Rick Ross has been puttin' out bangers. A few years ago I didn't care for him but now I'm starting to pay attention more. I like what he's doing on this album. Good collaboration too.
Hm... I'm thinking... will there be any gems left in Trilla? Maybe, maybe not. He's leaked a load of tracks, and 3 of those released got a 5 from me, the rest mostly 3-4. That's pretty good, considering he's still got half an album to go, but if there are disappointed people, keep in mind that there were those hot tracks, even if you heard them out of the computer speakers before the stereo or in the car, etc, etc. So before people claim after Trilla comes out and IF there isn't something amazing left, just remember that..
Man. This song also puts me on the Rick Ross bandwagon. I like the epic, Jay style soulful/movie soundtrack style production by J.U.S.T.I.C.E Leauge. Dope.
Why is everyone acting so shy about bumping Rick Ross? Have people really been sleeping on the Boss for this long? This man has been making great music. Port of Miami is one of the best (and certainly most epic) albums of all time.
Flow on this track is so beautiful...You have to listen to every single word because you do not want to miss anything....The J.U.S.T.I.C.E Leaugue did their thing on this song and also on the other Ross song...Jay-Z is bannanas on this song he compliments Ross...I really hope that Trilla is just as good as the few songs that have been released....This that rider music!!!!
Whoow Baby!! Aight that's it Trilla is gonna b freaking crazy!! I can't think that he's got mo better @*#$! on this album. Jay does perfectly on this too!!!
Rico Sean, I use to respect your comments, but have you ever heard any Jay-Z album?! I did listen to all of his albums only on 2006, and I confess: I didn't care about him before. But now?! Give the man his due props. And Port of Miami is another album you should listen before bashing Ross. peace
i`m still trying to work out what the hell this is all about its about an 8 track and a maybach an his been doing it since way back...things money cant buy is repritro stylie
Every element of this joint is appreciated by me! This is a TruE BaNgEr!!! Lyrics dope, beats dope, riffs & chorus. Jay-Z fits perfect, Ross does his thing... I give it 5, no doubt.

Black Maybach, white seats, black piling, remain me of Paul Macarney and Mike fighting. The whole world is mine. That's real. The real's stuff Jay has wrote.
