While Rick Ross strikes me as more of a hot wings dusted with lemon pepper seasoning kind of man, he’s clearly also a fan of seductively sliced tropical fruit (for reasons that probably aren’t entirely appropriate to discuss). On his latest song release, Diced Pineapples, The Bawse recruits fellow Maybach Music lyricist Wale and hook connoisseur Drake for a sultry tune. If the song’s piano-laced production, courtesy of Cardiak, doesn’t signify “song for the ladies” then Drake’s silky smooth hook certainly will. Thankfully, both Wale and the man who signs his checks help the record retain its hip-hop edge with their suave, R-Rated verses. Diced Pineapples will be featured on Ross’ fifth studio album, God Forgives, I Don’t, which will be released next Tuesday, July 31.

Not the beat that I expected from Cardiak & T-Minus. Different from their typical sounds which is cool. I was hoping that Drake would've done more on the track since the beat is more his style. Ross and Wale weren't bad though. Could be a grower.

I actually love it. Great verses by Rick Ross and Wale, and good hook by Drake... I'll definitely bump this. I'll give this a 3.5

This is the Rick Ross I like... Sick production work on the piano by Cardiak and T-Minus. Good work on the chorus by Drizzy. This is a BANGER right here. Wale put work in...

What's that? Is that actually emotion I can hear in Rick Ross' verse? It's been a while since I heard Ross on this flow, amazing song all round. Drake with a soft hook. Wale's 2 verses were spot on. All were steady and perfect over the beat.

I think you lot are overrating this song, it's not a big deal. The verses are average and it could have done with a drizzly 16.

I'm loving the old Ross in this one, Wale is pretty good on it and Drake was perfect for this kind of song. I think Drake should've had a bigger part though, atleast his own verse or something

I was expecting the beat to be a lil stronger than what it is. Drake should of did a verse as well. Solid track, couple more listens I think it will grow on me.

This track is magic. The poetry from wale was flawless, and the hook from drake was the icing on the cake!! This is one of the best Rick Ross songs I've heard to this day.. Good shit!!

The intro. beat was promising and unsuspecting but obviously being the 'Maybach Gang' had to be far from righteous and sweet.
The flows were smooth and raw, yet Drizzy's hook was freakishly wrong. But a fine tune after all, I give it a rotation. |

Nothing special. Same old formula from MB music really...Drake was okay. Wale annoys me, Rick Ross was okay. The chill beat was good. I expect this to be a single and blow up

I like the use of REAL instruments on this track. Everyone involved put in top quality verses (and hook provided by Drake).
