Named to honor the man who brought them together (superproducer Rich Harrison) and signed to his label (Richcraft Records) via Jive, R&B girl group Richgirl is ready to change the game with their style, sass, and swagger. Forming a Voltron of sorts, San Diego’s Audra, Florida’s Seven, Baltimore’s Brave, and North Carolina’s Lyndriette form a sultry vocal combo (Destiny’s Child, anyone?) who aim to please their men on their first official single. So, where is their favorite spot to be? 24 Inches from the ground in his slab, of course! Featuring a guest verse from Bun B and throwback production from Harrison, check the title of 24 Inches for its maximum impact position—not only in the car, but also at the club. Richgirl’s debut album currently has no set release date.
i heard this song back in june.. minus bun-b's part... no one can deny the beat is pretty hot. but the song is good enuff to download or listen to again.
Never heard of these females before but this is a great song to make a splash in the game wit. The beat is simple but hot at the same time!! Bass heavy is perfect for Bun-B to rap on....i can see Bun-B rapping on this for 4 minutes without the girls. All the girls do solid on this, and they do lightweight sound like Destiny's Child. The chorus is average. Why 24 inches? My shyt goes 28 inches..lol. Banger
These girls' vocals are absolutely amazing, they really can sing and their voices impressed me! Bun B sounds cool, too...the beat is good but I don't like the overall production, there's something which annoyes me in the music. I expected better from this song, girls have skills but the song didn't catch me, I'm not feeling the hook. It's in rotation
While the song does lack that 'it' quality, the ladies (with the right push and niche) should have ZERO problemo getting their work spinning on the radio and their faces on TRL. They need to create their own lane, separate from girl singing groups of the past. They have what it takes to do it... but will they?
I heard this cut a couple months ago..and i have stay it liked the original version. There is just to many switching in vocals and you can't focus on the song. Beat is tight but sound quality is lack luster.
not a big bun b fan, but his verse was aight to me....i dnt like dis song but i think dese girls have potential. dey r pretty n can sing....its jus dat dis song ant gon take dem nowhere tho...i wouldnt listen to it again
Richgirl is fine. This beat sounds a lot like something else. They definitely are a DESTINY'S CHILD CLONE! LOL The first vocalist coming in sounding just like Beyonce. That was mad crazy! Danity Kane ain't got nothing on this chicks. This is a solid track and Bun B served it up like Andre Agassi. I'm still trying to put my finger on what beat this samples or sounds EXACTLY like....hmmm.
These are the facts..this group is FIRE. can they sing? yes. would i do them? YES. lol.. Do they look good? Yes. Is the track hot, does Bun kill it.??? YES YES. i hear the dj's saying they sound like DC, but the fact is DC was REALLY only one chick, "Bey" , who ONLY sang lead. according to this song, ALL 4 of these girls sing lead, and sound hellla good. Im not one to hate, but just a SERIOUS LOVER of music (duh, DJ) buttt, i'd rock this joint at a club, ..and will rock it. People tell me Im 2 passionate about music,..I'm just waiting 4 something 2 excite me. F$&K it!! IM XCITED!!!!!! I'm waiting to hear more from this group!!
