If you’re like me, you learned very early in your childhood that treating furniture like a jungle gym or deliberately dumping food or drinks on the carpet were grounds for a swift slap on the rear. Of course, what our parents didn’t teach us was that, when you’ve got the right amount of cash, such rules cease to apply. On his latest single, Alabama’s Rich Boy shows us how a true high roller behaves in public by “Standing on the Couch and pouring liquor on the floor” of his local spot’s VIP room (and loudly demanding more when the bottle’s empty). Heavyweight beatsmith Polow da Don supports the headliner in his antisocial behavior, contributing backing vocals in addition to some characteristically bass-booming synth-string boardwork. The result is a club banger sure to get its share of spins on dancefloors across the nation – and keep nightclub custodians everywhere on their toes. Does S.O.C. have what it takes to get the D-throwing emcee’s sophomore full-length, Buried Alive onto store shelves? I’ll leave it to you, the readers, to speculate.

It's good to hear from Rich Boy, though I am not sure S.O.C is what is going to get that long-overdue sophomore album on store shelves. I like Polow's production here, but I dislike the need for him to appear on the track vocally. Why?

If you are not digging this record, we have a second Rich Boy feature coming later this week.

This beat is ugly. Rich Boy sounds much better on faster joints.

Solid beat by Polow but his vocals do not fit in the song. I was actually running today and listening to Its Over wondering if we were ever going to hear from Rich Boy again. If he is putting songs like this out, I do not know if his sophomore album will ever drop.

The track is tight but the rap could use a new flow

This song is cool, I think the beat is pretty cool. I probably wouldve preferred a faster track. I am over Rich Boy honestly, I think there is new champs of Alabama as in Yelawolf and the PRGz. Rich Boy sounds like nothing new. Hopefully next weeks track is better.

Rich Boy is more lyrical than people give him credit for, so a track like this doesn't do his skills justice. I still believe in him, and I'm looking forward to the next feature.

With a slight change in title this could easily be a single from Tom Cruise. As it is, anything would be preferable over hearing this again.

F**k your couch! @*#$!...your...couch!!!

Sorry, but there's never a bad time for a solid Chappelle Show quote.

In terms of the song itself, I have to say I',m consistently disappointed by Rich Boy. It's hard to remember a time when such a talented emcee dumbed himself down so regularly. Nothing wrong with a club hit, but this just sounds generic.

@Mr.Top Hat I was waiting for someone to bust out the Tom Cruise joke. Well done.

"@*#$! yo couch" damn, it's been awhile since I have heard that one. Overall, this track wasn't what it was cracked up to be, and just by looking at the title I didn't expect much. Question... Why the @*#$! is Polow featured? Polow always supplied some of the sickest beats, but this was a failure for me. His vocal contributions in the song, didn't really do much for me and Rich Boy is a product of his own creation on this. I wouldn't play this again. +2 fir Polow. After hearing "We Like It" this is a big disappointment.

Weak. He has more potential than this one. Maybe if the beat was different.

This track sounds like a WHACK version of raggae... Is this innovation or just plain trash... ? 1 - *

This could quite possibly be the low point of both Polow and Rich Boy's respective careers as far as "single" selections go. Not a good look at all...

I am feelin Rich boy on this beat. Not really feelin Polow tho. I do like the beat and the chorus and Rick Boy's verses though. This is just in between rotation and Banger for Rotation for me. When Rich Boy and Polow team up, its always something great!
