The 178th entry in our DJBooth.net Freestyle Series comes courtesy of Rhymefest, the Chi-town veteran (and DJBooth guest blogger) most recently heard on mixtape tracks Letter and Crack the Code. On his brand new, exclusive Turn That Sh*t Up freestyle, the dN Entertainment emcee flows over original boardwork by CLG. Rhymefest is currently preparing for this Tuesday’s release of his latest studio album, El Che.
Readers can download a copy of In the Booth (Volume 4), featuring exclusive freestyles 91 through 120, here! Volumes one, two and three are available for download here, here and here. Keep it locked for the latest on Volume 5, coming soon!

Allllright, after the interviews I've been reading, Rhymefest is back at the booth. This guy just destroys these freestyles. He has amazing flow and he is able to have fun with a song while staying lyrical. Personally I wanna hear him put on for 5 mins straight of pure freestyle. He can spit.

Yup, x20nickel said it. Fest destroyed his DJBooth Freestyle. And for me, when an artist destroys their freestyle, they get a 5. Cop El Che on Tuesday!

I haven't listen to Rhymefest in a minute but this just reminded me on how dope he is. I didn't like the hook and the talking toward the end was annoying but still a great freestyle to hear.

Um, f**ks yes. Fest is on a mission to destroy all those in his path, and I couldn't be happier that he brought that same energy and viciousness to the Booth. Huge props to Fest - I'm a fan of any man who drops a Baskin Robbins reference.

Good beat to freestyle over. Big fan of Rhymefest's flow and wordplay. Waiting to hear more from him.

I was hoping this would be amazing, but it just wasn’t. I’m a big fan of Ryhmefest but he can come harder than this.

Rhymefest is awesome. I'm still a fan of his work with Just Blaze, Going Postal, and his earlier work with Kanye. I like the fact that even though he can go hard on a track, he always has fun with it. The crowd of people on the hook was a great addition to and enjoyable beat and freestyle. Wish it was longer.
