Reek Da Villian - We Rollin' ft. Busta Rhymes & T.I.
Artist: Reek Da Villian
Featuring: Busta Rhymes , T.I.
Producer: DJ Knotz
Album: Let The Bidding Wars Begin Mixtape
Label: C.O.E./Flipmode
Despite being signed to Busta Rhymes’ Flipmode Entertainment, Reek da Villian is busy looking for major-label distribution for his long-in-the-works debut album. To Let The Bidding Wars Begin, the NYC native is set to release a mixtape in early ‘09, full of numerous freestyles and previously-unreleased studio session material. On We Rollin’, one of the ‘previously-unreleased sessions’, guest feature T.I. dusts off his old T.I.P. persona (which he had seemingly retired as of Paper Trail) and Rhymes chips in with his slower-than-normal flow. So, can Reek hold his own against all heavyweights, or just those that tend to go soft? Let the comment wars begin…

Good beat, Reek does his stuff as do Busta and Tip. I could throw this in rotation

I thought this was meant to be on Busta's Bleesed (Thats what another site said anyway). T.I. is in red hot form at the moment, seems to be on to of the game at the moment. Busta was ok, i couldnt understand a couple of lines he spit but what i could understand, he was good. Reek Da Villian i thought was fairly good, especially since i havnt heard much from him. He defiantly has a big future. The beat from DJ Knotz was fair sick. Certified Banger

This beat sounds just like a song T.I. would keep for himself. I'm wonderin if this DJ Knotz producer has any ties to Tip from the past. Speaking of the production, it's pretty hot and has that south feel to it. Tip and Busta outshined the main artist here, which I find myself saying way too much when these high profile rappers guest feature on a new artist's track. Damn shame. Oh well, 3/5 can't hate on it.

I thought the production was awesome...except for the fact it sounded low in kbps. In Laymen's terms, it was muffled and it would have been better if the instrumentation had been brighter. The hook isn't AS bad as you guys are saying...but I agree...it could have been better. TIP brought it nicely. His verse wasn't touching any thing he brought on Paper Trail though. Not by a long shot. Who laid Busta Rhymes' verse on a cutting board and started chopping little slits in it? The beginning of his verse sounds mad foreign. The first time I heard Reek was on the "Don't Touch Me" remix. He was the freshest on that track and he wasn't bad on this joint either. Overall, I can't give it more than 3 stars. It's more of a 2.9 though.

@ Aussie_Pride - other hip-hop sites just post music... we actually talk with the artists and their camps. Now you know, haha.
Reek has been on my radar for a minute now. This is a good look for him; a better look, however, would be a label deal. |

Woooow, this beat is great. TI is definatly on par for this track and I think Busta was dope to, but then again, when is Busta not? I havent really heard alot of Reek really, but Im definatly going to be watching him from now on; he did his thing on this for sure. This is a banger.

Yes Reek got outshined, but its TI and Busta on the track. Beat is dope and nice formal intro for Reek.

Good flows and a nice beat! Not one of my favourites, though...after a while it gets repetitive! In rotation
