Redd Hott‘s early work revolved around the violent topics typical of his genre, but, following his uncle’s shooting death, he decided to switch from hard-knock reggae to its feel-good cousin, dancehall. Now, he’s preparing for the release of his debut album, Dreamgirl, which will introduce fans everywhere to his triple-threat versatility on the mic, with the pen, and behind the boards. On the lead single, Redd and Rami Afuni‘s slow-burning instrumental sets a sultry mood as the artist asks the fly-est lady on the dancefloor to (figuratively) spread her wings and Glide For Me. Let’s be honest, though: the real reason this is the first single is because it’s the record with the big-name guest artist, and with Bobby V in DTP-era form on his soulful hook, the hit potential is undeniable. A sultry cut sure to leave clubgoers soaring, Glide should be just the thing to heighten anticipation for Dreamgirl‘s December 15th release.

I was really feeling that production from the start, really smooth and laid back! It's a real good right here, Redd Hott delivered the heat. Solid summer track right here, great work by Bobby V also!

Good pick to single with Bobby V
I've never been a big reggae-ish fan BUT the production on this is nice and it all just flows right on together I see no flaws...definately hittin the highway with the windows down ;) |

Reggae artists don't typically perform well on mainstream radio but for this track Bobby Valentino changes that whole scenario. There is a reason why Redd Hott's verse are so short people!

RH's people are VERY excited about this record and with good reason. Dancehall and R&B always seem to marry one another musically and this is the perfect relationship. Neither artist steps on the other's feet, which shows why this works so well.
Redd Hott has a nice swagger on his vocals (yeah, I said it and I hate the word) and BV is killin' the guest feature game these days.

nuttin less than a BANGER... I love Bobby V when he's on point like this, the hook is perfect. Redd Hotts voice fits perfectly wit the production, which makes sense cuz he co-created it. Real smooth track right here!

Bobby V sound really nice on here. His voice fits the production perfectly. Wow, I didn't think this was a reggae type song. I'm really not a fan of reggae music, but this isn't all that bad. Bobby V. def adds that crossover affect to the song. From a creative standpoint i think that was a smart move. Although i can't really understand what he's saying I'm feeling the chorus and the overall song is hot.
