It seems there are two trends in hip-hop that will never die; rappers who rhyme about jewelry and rappers who feature Weezy on their own music. Back again is Miami MC Redd Eyezz, whose remix to How Much (featuring Juvenile and Flo Rida) was previously featured on DJBooth, and this time he’s just combining both trends. Lil’ Wayne and Birdman hop on board (family discount possibly?) and the three Southern MCs show off their jewels, comparing their Bling Blaw shine. Interestingly enough, this song was already done; Red Café and Fabolous got their East Coast Bling Blaow (notice the inclusion of the letter ‘A’) on in ’06. Recycling is good for the environment, is it good for hip-hop?
UUUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Not liking the midget sounding voice saying bling blaw... Not feeling this at all... Sorry DJBooth reps... if that was a lil too much...
I'm kinda surprised with the hate on this track. The beat is hard hitting and it's interesting. Redd Eyezz's flow is actually pretty solid (if you like that style of 'grumbly' rap).
Lil' Wayne is a master of words. The way he combines his words is magnificent: always something fresh. Nice hook. Birdman was alright. Redd Eyezz held his weight on this traack.
At first I though I liked it and that all people who rated it 1 star were haters...but well it's truly nothing special! The beat is good but the song is boring. Yeah 7574Life that voice saying Bling is annoying
They took this chorus from 50-cent some time ago when he said it in a rhyme; but this beat is CRAAAAZZZY! I am definitely feelin it. Redd Eyezz is rippin it on here! I am not hatin on Birdman at all. I think his flow is laid back and cool. Not the best lyrics; and he knows this...his rhymes are just to get a quick point across. Lil Wayne does his $hit how he does it! FIRE!
LOVED how it started… then it came different than what I expected. But still good. Redd Eyezz deserves props for not being totally overshadowed by Wayne. He sounds a bit like Jadakiss. But the beat is surely banging.
