Reason - Can't Stop Me
Artist: Reason
Producer: THX
Album: Some Sh*t I Did EP
Label: Franchise Entertainment
If you’re thinking of getting in Reason‘s way, you’d best reconsider; as the Orlando-born, Hollywood-residing rhymesayer explains on newly-leaked EP cut Can’t Stop Me, his first feature since ‘09’s Life of a Star, impeding his hustle is a sheer impossibility. Making its world premiere in the Booth, this cut finds Reason waxing braggadocious over synth-percussion production by project collaborator THX. Feeling it? More awaits on the emcee’s Booth-hosted Some Sh*t I Did EP, set to hit our front page for free streaming and download May 8.

The beat by THX was OK. I wasn't really a fan of Reason's flow or overall sound. Just 2-stars for my ears.

I thought this was pretty good! Solid beat. Lyrics could have been a little smarter though... especially as far as the chorus goes.

I like it! Been a fan of REASON since Orlando Florida. It might not be his best song, but definitely better than most of the crap I hear out there. Keep up coming!

In a sea of virtually the same style of artist, Reason breaks through with a track that features a checklist of unique flow and cadence, smart, feel good hook, excellent production, and the ability to reach multiple types of listeners. You can't be mad at that!

Same here I follow him on twitter, honestly this track is good, I've heard better though, I think this track is more like "here is a little smoothing for now" type of track, Ill be listening to this EP for more content, but overall I'm a fan.. His flow was tight too.

Man, I was actually a massive fan of 'Life of a star', bumped that for ages, this isn't as good but he's still got a sick flow, not feeling the beat too much

Reason is an amazing artist! I don't think this song was meant to be exoteric with a deep allegorical meaning behind it! I think the song was written to celebrate life, confidence without needing to be abrasive! And as a fan who listens to him a lot of his music, I feel that a lot of his music celebrates life! Doesn't make him any less of an artist then the artist who is deeply conflicted! "The border between music and noise is always culturally defined—which implies that, even within a single society, this border does not always pass through the same place; in short, there is rarely a consensus ... By all accounts there is no single and intercultural universal concept defining what music might [ or should be]"
