Ray J - Sexy Ladies ft. Truth
Artist: Ray J
Producer: Kevin Crouch & Ray J
Album: For The Love of Ray J (Soundtrack)
Label: KO Entertainment/Fifth Amendment
Now that Flavor Flav’s time is up on Flavor of Love and Bret Michaels’ Rock of Love tour is coming to a close, VH1 has recruited yet another musical heavyweight for their latest Bachelor-type series, For The Love of Ray J. Unlike the previous two shows, there will actually be a soundtrack this time around, to be released on March 24 via Ray’s label home, Knockout Entertainment/E1 Music. The first single (and show theme song) sees Ray in familar territory as he compliments all the Sexy Ladies in the building. Produced by Ray and Kevin Crouch, and featuring Knockout Entertainment protégé Truth, Sexy Ladies is background music that doesn’t sacrifice radio appeal. To find out which of the ten remaining Sexy Ladies will win Ray J’s heart (at least for the time being), tune into VH1 every Monday evening at 10 Eastern/9 Central.

Ray J with a T.V show. Cool. I might tune in to this. I see this dude everyday on the N as D-Money on Moesha reruns. LOL.
The theme song sounds pretty dope. No hate on this one. Rotation. |

Production was catchy and hook was average. Nice track for the ladies!

I find it funny that Ray-J is the star of one of these VH1 shows, but this song was cool. It was real smooth, and I can totally imagine it playing in the backround during the opening credits. The repeated "sexy ladies" gets annoying, but that's the type of thing that happens on a theme song. I wouldn't listen to it on my free time, but I will vibe to it when the show comes on...

Will I watch the show? No.
Do I go out of my way to bump Ray J's music? No. Would I play this record more than once? Maybe. |

This is pretty cool right here! It reminds me of an 80's type Prince joint. Ray J has one of the best voices in the business and his show is cool and entertaining, so I have to at least throw it into rotation! Good Stuff!

This is kinda smooth and sounds good the first couple of times you hear it. After that, the hook becomes annoying and falls in amongst the rest of average and forgetable Ray-J songs.

This song goes absolutely nowhere. It is boring all the way through. Way too repetitive. That is all I got to say about this.

I like this. The production is cool. I have been a fan of Ray J's singing style, but hadn't really heard him in a while. I'm glad he's got a new album out even if it is to promote trash on t.v. (I can't front, I've been watching it). It's pretty good.
