It’s unfortunate, but true: many of the most enjoyable things in life are also the most hazardous to your health. Like smoking, or (in some circumstances) casual sex. On Cigarette Song, his first feature since April’s Sunshine, Raury draws a parallel between the aforementioned vices, comparing the dangerous allure of tobacco and the physical relationship he shares with a certain chick. Daytrip helps Raury create the beat, an acoustic guitar-driven arrangement that builds to a menacing climax. This Cigarette isn’t just a loosie, either; Indigo Child, an original EP from the singer-songwriter, will be available August 25.

Update: We have added the Andrew Donoho and Carlon Ramong-directed visuals for Raury’s Cigarette Song single.
