Though the filthy rich can currently enjoy an outer-space vacation for the low, low price of 20 to 30 million dollars, it’s likely going to be a very long time before we’re all zooming through the cosmos in our own personal Spaceships. But there’s nothing wrong with daydreaming about the possibility, right? On the first official leak off her forthcoming, Mick Boogie/DJBooth.net-presented #Trending Topics mixtape, RAtheMC does just that, using the fantasy of leaving this Earth behind as a metaphor for lofty ambitions, musical or otherwise. In a lilting, measured flow somewhat different from her usual, hard-hitting rhyme style, the femcee encourages all those unhappy on the nine-to-five grind to “fly away” and pursue their dreams. Frequent production collaborator JUDAH backs RA’s stellar message with some appropriately out-of-this-world boardwork, blending downtempo percussion, heavy bass and ambient samples to ominous effect – the headliner’s soulfully hollow sung hook adds to the eerie feel. If this insightful, unconventionally dope track leaves you intrigued, download a copy of #Trending Topics when it hits our front page next Tuesday, Oct. 6.

When RA raps, I don't think "Man, she is good for a female." I think "Man, she is good. Period." Love how Judah flipped the Kanye sample.

Glad to be apart of this project!

I like the subtle interpolation of Kanye West's classic from the College Dropout. This song is TOO dope! I needed this. I'm hitting her up RIGHT NOW about a remix, cuz I'm feeling this song too much!

Damn! that heavy bass and unconventional sounds added throughout, all contribute to make a very addictive backdrop, the mood it evokes matches Rye's flow who lay down some well-written lyrics to go with ... BANGER!!!

I like this track alot...The beat completely changes the feel from Kanye's track and her flow is on point. The outros at the end definitely add to the song too.

Really dug this, but honestly it mostly made me want to go listen to the original from Kanye. RA's doing the damn thing.

I got such a Missy Elliot vibe outta this track, I love how they twisted up Kanye's version to make a new vibe. She can spit, and I love it because femcees just dont get enough love mainly because they either try to go too hard, or just trynna be sexy all the time
I'm definitely diggin this
