RaSun‘s Can’t Get You Off My Mind, a single that we had the opportunity to premiere in late March, saw the singer pouring his heart out to a special lady who just might be the one. The rest of the female sex need not despair, though; like many men, Ra can be distracted by a few seductive dance moves—in fact, on this latest feature he wants nothing more than to Get It On with one of the many willing shortys at his local club. Amping up the Caribbean flavor as he addresses all his girls, the San Francisco native is flanked by a formidable pair of wingmen: Don Juan C, the producer/ladies’ man who contributed his slow-jam boardwork to Ra’s Booth debut, showcases his versatility with a body-moving synth-bass instrumental, and reggae/dancehall heavyweight Beenie Man jumps in to spit some rapid-fire game midway through. I don't know what's wrong with the people above me (no offense), but the production on here is absolutely amazing! And the RaSun flows really nicely on here. This is like my perfect kind of track. I'm puttin this one on my Booth, and callin it Classic. Damn, I can't get over this production!!

Hot records. Nice production and great energy.
RaSun isn't going to make a fan out of every listener, but whether or not you like dancehall music, this isn't a garbage record (c'mon Gr33nBowlP4ck3r). I hate Britney Spears music, but it isn't garbage - just not my thing. Feel me?

This track was pretty cool, the production is tight dancehall style. RaSun's vocals sound nice over it and Beenie Man adds a different dimension to the track.

lol @ Patty, you have some peculiar descriptions of how a song makes you feel! :p But it’s actually the lack of that “main melody” that didn’t catapult the song as the beat sets.
Production is cool (some dope features even set it apart from the usual type), but RaSun gotta find a way to bring more energy to his “thing”: half dancehall singing, half rapping. He sounds like a rapper doin a dancehall song. Beenie Man shows how it's done. |
