The second R&B singer signed to T.I.’s Grand Hustle, Rashad knows that the first rule of marketing is to Tell ‘Em What They Wanna Hear. With that in mind, he decides to spend a day spitting game to all the females, telling each of them he’s looking for a wife and wants to be the father of their kids. Grand Hustle‘s dynamic duo of T.I. and Young Dro help enhance the pimp mode, but it’s Rashad’s simplistic snap-beat (a la ColliPark, circa ‘05) that gives Tell ‘Em What They Wanna Hear a good shot at the Billboard charts. Tell ‘Em was first heard on Grand Hustle’s In Da Streetz Volume 4 compilation in December of ‘06, but is now the first single off Rashad’s debut album Detroit Love Affair, set to be released sometime this year.

The production is too mellow and simplistic for me. I would like to see this mixed with an upbeat melody and a banging bass-line. The structure of the short verses are creative nonetheless. Read the blurb guys, M. Burmy states that the record was previously released on "Grand Hustle: In Da Streetz Vol. 4" last winter.
I really like the beat and I honestly wasn't ready for Rashad to flow that creatively on the track and he deserves a lot of credit for ripping this different than anyone else would have done. And I gotta admit..I definitely had to tell em what they wanna hear sometimes in order to get in...heh, that's life...
This would have been a lot better with a monster beat...and dude voice aint nothing special.....how did he get a deal...must have been a favor by TI for somebody

The beat is pretty similar to the wisper song. I think it could have been a better song with a different beat. At some parts it doesnt sound like it fits.

aS ALWAYS-T.I LYRICS ARE SIC & MAKE A HIT. NOT IMPRESSED WITH YOUNG DRO LYRICS (HE NEED TO COME HARDER). THE BEAT/BASS IS GREAT. I CAN SIT BACK AND BANG MY HEAD TO IT WHICH ALLOWS IT TO OVER COME THE WEAK LYRICS.
