When Young Money West‘s flagship artist, Raje, made his Booth debut with the Lil Wayne and Tyga-assisted Loser (Remix), the reviews were mainly negative, with most listeners claiming he was a “Weezy wannabe.” Hoping to make a better impression this time around, the Inland Empire native trades some more eccentric rhymes with Weezy while showing off his ‘So Fly’ styles. While some reviewers might be quick to criticize the rapper’s verses, there’s no denying that Real 8 steals the show here with his jazzy, alto saxophone-heavy production. While Raje’s debut album, You’re Welcome, still has no set release date, keep your eyes open for his contribution to our exclusive freestyle series this April.

I listened to this almost a week ago. and i was SHOCKED that i liked it! This song is sweet! The beat. Raje's flow. was just on point. 4.5 stars. wayne was coo too.

This beat is insane!! I love that saxophone in the background mixed in with the bass this is a hit fa sho! Raje was dope and Weezy was made for these type of beats and they spittin some feel good lyrics. Im definitely feeling this one! Classic!

Well, tha sax definitely made it... and what an ending (tha chorus part I guess)! That alone deserves 5* Z! lol Honestly, I don't think you need longevity to see your work considered classic. If you nailed it, it's done.
I really liked the witty “Bill Gates line” by Raje, talk about swagger! Lol This is the Lil Wayne I love the most: crazy dynamic flow, crazy lyrics! |

I like Raje, could see him banging on some nice DJ Khaled epic soundin remixes. Hes gotta pump up the energy a lil bit for me to want to buy his cd (whenever that comes out) tho. I don't think hes biting waynes style, hes in yung money, is there a chance wayne told him to try to spit this way? If so, he obviously doesn't mind it, so why should we. Wayne murked it, felt like soem carter 2 ish.

This is cool. I can understand why people would call him a Weezy copycat (though that was really just Bow Wow). Hook should be different, but the verses and the sax are dope enough to place over that.

I liked it. The beat was crazy, wayne ripped it and raje was ok. This is my first time hearing raje and I thought that he sounded ok, but a bit like wayne (not necessarily bad thing). I would enjoy hearing somthing else from him where he found his own identity and changed up his style a bit.
