Yesterday evening, just as I was starting to think about dinner, I caught a whiff of Chinese takeout from a neighboring apartment (sweet and sour pork, to be exact), and was suddenly struck by a craving of epic proportions; though I had plenty of food around, nothing else seemed appetizing anymore. For diehard fans of Raekwon, it’s likely that his exclusive interview with DJ Z (premiered today) stirred up similar feelings; if the Chef’s tantalizing descriptions of Cuban Linx II have your mouth watering uncontrollably, we’ve got just the remedy: Flashback Memories, a track that finds the Wu-Tang emcee and Black Wall Street general The Game reminiscing about their hood beginnings in vividly poetic verses. Beatsmith BT backs their rhymes with a dreamy, crackling sample that perfectly captures the nostalgic mood, and it all adds up to a cut likely to leave listeners longing for more—luckily, fans only have to wait till May 2nd for Rae’s Blood on Chef’s Apron mixtape, which should hold them over until the entrée’s August 11th arrival.

the beat is niice but I was expectin a much harder west coast vibe in dis ... besides that, Raekwon spits dope lyrics with slick flow and delivery ... & Game even tho a short verse came tight on it ... BANGER!!!

The beat could of been a little better but it helps highlights the lyrics better. Game and Raekwon showcase their flow on this one. In rotation

If this sh*t is on a mixtape, I can't wait until I hear this album. This was fire. The production was great and both artists spit some real lyrics on here. Great collabo.

Never thought of it, but The Games and Raekwons' vocals/flows work well on a track together. THis is a nice smooth and dark beat to which both artists can speak some real ish. The Chef's lyrics were poetry and were really enjoyable. The Game was a nice addition, even if his lyrics were a lil cliche from him.

I know people like a banger beat, but the most important is the lyrics. I Think a Raekwon and The Game feature is smash hit.

Chef was straight on this one. Game's guest verse was tight too. Beat is aight, but the lyrics were really dope. If this is just a mixtape track, the Cuban Linx 2 is gonna be amazin. 4.5 but i always round down

Mixtape cut and it's a banger! Rae and Game got nice verses and it is a nice collabo in my opinion. Production reminds me of like GTA: Vice City at night just crusin down on a PCJ Bike.

agree with deadlois69 (im assuming your a family guy fan).
IMO, The Game has really been coming hard with these guest features ever since LAX dropped. Hopefully 'The Red Album' gets released in a year or two because Rap & The West Coast scene need The Game |

nothing against the beat, but we living in 2009. NY cats and especially those older dudes like Raekwon really need to step it up with their beat choice! They still stuck in the old times fo real.

Hate to be a nay-sayer but whatethef happened to Game now all he can rap about is the cars he got, his dreams previously about getting the cars he now has and about the planes he uses to get to and fro. I'm sorry but I would've never liked dude (no skittles) if I knew he'd turn out to be so generic. On a side note and more important note everything else was kwl but you take Game off of it and you wouldn't know the difference.

Def feeling this 1. The Chef did his thing, never cease to impress me. Looking forward to anything Raekwon drops. Production was cool, could have been better, but it did its job by giving off a reminiscent vibe, and The Game came solid on his less anticipated verse.
