Raekwon - Necro ft. Ghostface Killah
Artist: Raekwon
Featuring: Ghostface Killah
Producer:
Album: Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2
Label: Ice H20 Inc./EMI
As long as there are streets to be run, drugs to be sold, and killer RZA beats to rap over, Wu-Tang members will remain united in their effort to sound as badass as humanly possible. On Necro, the first leaked song from Raekwon’s (very) long-awaited second album, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2, “the chef” and Ghostface combine their emotionally-charged flows and storytelling abilities to paint a vivid picture of their street-based exploits. The beat is as dark as their lyrics, providing a fitting background to the two menacing, stream-of-consciousness verses. After a mythically long wait of 13 years, Raekwon is definitely ready to bring the same swagger to Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2 that he brought to its classic original.

The Chef is here to cook another delicious album. He looks alot like Beenie Siegel? This is OFFICIAL STREET MUSIC. I feel like I am back in the mid-90's. Beat and lyrics are on point.

donjonjon - sounds dated? I don't understand what's wrong with this. Not only was Nas in his prime 10 years ago, but rap and hip-hop in general was also it it's prime. I'd do anything to bring that 1994-98 vibe back into the game. As for this particular track, as if it wasn't made obvious by my comments above.. I'm really feelin it. Nice smooth beat, and Ghost deliveres as always. I am really looking forward to Raekwon's LP as well as RZA's LP.

DJJ: The fact that it sounds like it could have been recorded years ago means 2 things... 1) It could have been recorded years ago... and 2) Many current rap fans would agree that is probably a good thing.

This has that retro feel, like a lost 90s track surfacing in 2008. I can dig it.

Another Wu-banger!!!!!!! RZA's beats are still untouchable. He is still in my eyes is THE BEST HIP-HOP PRODUCER OUT THERE!!! Ghost and Rae do their usual. Another great one by THE WU!!!!!!!!!!

Straight fire. Great lyrics great production. I love the feel and its an all around classic. Rae and Ghostface continue to prove that they work great together. Now I am dying to get Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2. By the way there isn't anything wrong with sounding as though this song is from the mid-90's and anybody that says otherwise doesn't know what they are talking about.

holly shit there are some clowns. if you rated this a 3 or lower, its safe to say you are the reason that hip hop is wasting its time in ringtone rap

The name of this track is Gihad. Necro is the man who produced the beat. Check out Necro the Rapper/Producer at NecroHipHop.com. The man is a beast.
