Good lord, has it really been a year since Radio Ramone graced our frontpage for the first (and, to date, last) time? With fellow Vegas representatives Marion Write and Nique regularly making waves in the Booth, it’s high time the emcee swooped in with a new cut – and EP leak Watch Me Fly should serve that purpose nicely. This lofty jam sees beatsmith Mr. Kooman cooking up a pensive, string-driven beat as the artist communicates the breadth of his ambition by way of expressionistic lyrical imagery; in vividly poetic bars, Ramone describes himself as a winged giant sporting the sunglasses of blues legend Ray Charles, soaring through the skies with Sin City on his back (that self-portrait would make one hell of an album cover, huh?). To paraphrase George W. Bush, with material this impressive, it’s only a matter of time before Radio Ramone’s wings take dream – or have I got it twisted? The final call, as always, is yours. Ramone is excited about this record. I can tell. Its infectious. Though, at times, the grittiness of his vocals sounds like he needs to take a breather, its only helps to emphasize his passion. The production is large, but Ramone (for the most part) is up to the challenge.

Yeah Ramone spazzed a little too hard on this one, but I don't think it takes away from the greatness of the record. The magnitude on this beat is pretty big, and needs to be complemented with an aggressive approach. Really loved the effort here and the hard work on the boards.

I thought this track was just average. There wasn't really anything that grabbed me and kept me hooked to what he was saying. I think that the production kind of out shined Ramone's flow on some parts of the song. All around good effort.

It's true that this beat could easily overwhelm a lot of emcees, but I think Ramone does really well here to keep his head above water. This has that epic feel, and serves as yet more proof that Vegas is a city on the rise. Props.

This is an instant BANGER. It has that "repeat" value that makes the listner want to listen over and over. This song offers inner strength to move forward.

When i first pressed play, the production from Mr. Kooman, really knocked me on my a$$. Its EPIC!!! I love listening to it. I didnt evern get through the whole song, i just keep pressing replay, dam. I love ramones approch in this. I was afraid the production would over power him and he wouldnt have a part in this, but i was mistakin. He fits perfectly with the production. This is a banger.

i almost put 4 stars, then I listened again and realized how original the content is, I was expecting some "im fly rap" from the title. but i was proved wrong BIG! i want to hear more from him. this might sound racist... is he asian too?

Beat is as major as the sky, however I don't think Ramone quite flies on it. He was solid, but you have to be spectacular to match this beat.
