Selected as the album’s second single and the follow-up to the chart-stalled Hair Braider is the self-produced Skin. Over a classic, slow-winding production, Kelly gets romantic with his special (legal) lady, harmonizing with layered vocals courtesy of none other than himself. Originally slated for a mid-summer release, the project is currently aiming for a late fall date. If you ask me, I’ll take a Kelly song over death and taxes any day of the week.

This song is smooth, another impressive job from Kells. Hair Breader hasn't done anything mainstream or on the charts, so I guess you can call that single a flop even though I liked it. I like the beat on here, its made for a voice like Kells. I am getting a little bit tired of the constant topics in this industry, but thats mainstream music for ya. Good thing we all have DJBooth to fall back on for some underground every now and then.
Im starting to like Kelly more and more. I never used to be a huge fan but if he keeps dropping tracks like "playas get lonely" and this than i just might buy that album. Much better than hair braider
I'm feelin Kellz on this one, but then again i'm the type of person that would prefer Mario over Weezy anyday, R&B for me, and i'm with you on this one ADVOCATE, whats with all the songs named after something on the body? Maybe he's thinkin of making a album just with body parts on it and name it All Natural LOL! I'm still hopin Playas get lonely to will be on the album.
I think people will sleep on this song and till it gets drilled into their brains. Freaky sensation, Go Low, Son of a B!tch, etc... He'll probably include those leaked songs as a bonus cd. This will be the sexual album we haven't had since, well vintage R. Kelly.
Classic just listen to the harmoneys through out the whole song. They are amazing the quality is great this song is old for me had been on rotation. i personally think its bananas. R Kelly is a legend!!!
triv4life knows what's he talking about. listen to the harmony. he's one of the best in how he arranges the song. I mean people are stuck on this autotone that's barely noticeable if even present. close the bedroom door and go to work... that 12 Play 4th Quarter album is going to vintage R. Kelly at it's best. Even with the leak, he's still going to drop it unlike Loveland and Musical Virus (pending).
this would be a good track to get down to but there are a lot of references in here that are kind of redundant. either way i love kells and even if this isn't as hott as some of his other tracks have been i'm still feeling it.
The production has some bump to it and the instrumentation is nice to it. Its real laid back and something more of Kelz style than his Double Up rap style. What I don't like is the fact that his vocals sound a little computerized, he's added some effects that I would prefer just to hear his voice. It works for me though, don't really see this as a single, but its nice.
What's wrong with R. Kelly? What's with this T-Pain B.S. he's apparently trying to do? It sucks...just like T-Pain himself. The drums are straight ripped from Prince circa the '80s. Kelly is not doing anything fresh and original with this track. Kelly is going the same route of far too veterans in the music industry and producing sucky music in the process; i.e., copying the last musical fad instead staying true themselves and their true, longtime fans. Kelly is a 41 years old. When is he going start behaving and sounding like a middle-age man? Musically and personally. I have a feeling 'Skin' is going to go the route of the previous single, 'Hair Braider'. Right into the toilet where it belongs. You can have this. It's horrible.

It sounds like all his other crap -- very elementary and simple. He needs to try harder. All his music sounds the same! The lyrics suck and sound like a 10yr old wrote it for him. HAHA
This is the hottest club banger Ive ever heard from Kells he surprises me everytime I hear him Im anxious to see what he has in store for his future records.
